Best innate element for Kuva Nukor?
Pretty simple question. I've always loved the Nukor, and really want the Kuva variant, but I can't decide which innate Element would work best. I was thinking Magnetic to allow for Corrosive/Radiation/Magnetic combo that can super-effective EVERY enemy in the game that matters, as well as rapidly stripping armor for high-level content. Is there anything that works even better as a catch-all element?

I went for toxic so you can get corrosive/rad/heat, and for any enemy shielded I just use any slash oriented weapon.

Isn't Corrosive / Heat slightly redundant, as Corrosive will be a better anti-armor tool and Radiation causes "stun" through chaos?
Toxin damage makes magnetic damage redundant since toxin damage itself ignores shields completely. Unless they rework magnetic damage, I don't see why people should use that damage type.

I was thinking of heavily armored Corpus enemies with Proto-Shields, like Demolysts, Hyenas, and ESPECIALLY the annoying Arachnids on Orb Vallis that are coated in shields.

You do make a fair point. If you are going that direction, I guess what you said in the OP is the best elemental combo. Though for most scenarios, enemy armor scaling makes it so that corrosive/heat builds are the best for quick armor stripping in like less than 10 hits or viral/slash builds to ignore armor. These won't work on some rare status immune enemies though.

Since they are buffing corpus shields I'll go with magnetic and with viral+heat on it.
To strip shields, health and armor, and stun every body as well as rad proc.

Because reasons, just a Jack of All Trades.

That is I'd go with it but last 8 hours of my Warframe experience for me were Sedna exterminate and killing countless larvings without getting that. Got all other weapons, multiple times. Great design.

Corrosive Nukor is good ofc but they plan to nerf armor on high level Grineer so that means they are just buffing heat once again as Heat will be enough to strip enough armor to kill the target fast even for way higher levels than now.

So in new meta I feel Corrosive is pretty overrated and held on tight by people stuck in some previous update that happened many many years back. It is good ofc, but no worth everywhere.
If you are gonna meet such high level where armor stripping is a must I do think it will be in a pre-made squad with 4 CP. Corrosive damage on top of that is a diminishing return unless that one target is weak to corrosive.

My intention was actually not taking into account the elements as status-inflictors only. No other weapon in the game, to my knowledge, can have both Corrosive/Rad or Rad/Mag as innate damage combinations. For a long time the optimal non-status "catch-all" elemental combination has been Corrosive / Cold, as it is resisted by the least amount of enemies in the game. Radiation / Corrosive / Magnetic has been impossible to even consider as all three require Electric as a base, and no weapon has two of them combined. But NOW the Nukor, with Radiation from the weapon and a secondary type from the Lich, is, to my knowledge, the only weapon in the game that can achieve the trio of Rad/Cor/Mag, which does +50% & +75% on all key enemies:
  • Heavy Gunner: Weak to Corrosive
  • Bombards and Napalms: Weak to Radiation
  • Hyena: Weak to Radiation and Magnetic
  • Bursa: Weak to Rad and Mag
  • All Raknoids: Weak to Rad
  • Ancients: Weak to Corrosive

It is also resisted by NOTHING. The combo is, at best, neutral against specifically normal Infested, which are no threat at all, and Grineer machines, which are only Rollers and Regulators, which are also no threat.

The bonus armor stripping and shield negation are just very welcome side-effects. Viral and Heat are nice, but are resisted by a few things. Heat shouldn't be necessary with the power of 100% Corrosive procs, and Viral equally shouldn't be needed if nothing can resist the elemental onslaught.

With 20% crit chance and a mind-boggling 10x crit damage, raw elemental power is going to be enough to slam through any potential defense an enemy might have and nullify high health enemies as well.

If anyone has input on my thinking, please tell, because I'm always looking to learn new things about Warframe.

Mixing those secondary elements sounds alright, my main concern is if the Nukor can actually output high enough damage in order to be viable against those enemies anyways

The only real downside is you'll have to reserve two slots to build Corrosive. Toxin is a great choice because all it takes is one slot to bump that damage type up to Corrosive, Viral, or Gas.

I have yet to obtain one for testing (My current Lich has a HEAT Nukor thanks to my stupidity in using the wrong frame to kill it), but my logic is that those two slots can go towards +60s and help achieve that 100% status mark. The Nukor also has no downside to using Magnum Force and Hornet Strike, as its beam cannot be affected by accuracy penalties. Finally, Primed Gambit and Cracker hit 20% crit chance and 10x crit. ANY chance to hit an absurd 10x crit is worth it. Slap a fire rate mod on there, and in theory the damage should be astronomical. You can also put on Hollow Point for 13.5x crit, if the build allows.

The K. Nukor also has chaining properties, allowing for it to hit multiple enemies at the same time.

As said, this is all theory-crafting right now, but from what I've seen of people that have already gotten on, the damage is definitely not it's weakness.

Just fyi, Rattleguts also has innate radiation, which can build to the heat/rad/corrosive build as well, but also has the 3 physical damage types, damage output is much better but does not proc nearly as much

Dude this entire post is almost a full year old how the ♥♥♥♥ did you even find it

As Condition overload primer go with magnetic, for dps go with heat
I went with magnetic. That way i have viral, magnetic and radiation. Shreds pretty much everyone and everything.
Well, the Kuva Nukor is not really a Nukor it´s an Atomos with a NUkor skin, at least if DE hasn´t changed it.
