In my opinion, equilibrium is one of those "niche" mods that works best in a very specific situations. I have a maxed equilibrium on hand, and I only use it on my Nekros which just so happens to be equipped with its despoil augment so it continually loses health whenever its desecrate ability activates, which will spawn a healthy compliment of orbs from the corpses and scattered body parts left behind.
TL;DR: Equilibrium is a niche mod and its pretty strong when combined with Nekros' despoil augment.
You see... It's infinite energy. Why? Simple. Dispensary gives you regular energy orbs(25energy) and... Upgraded Health orbs - 100hp, not 50hp like the regular ones. With max level Equilibrium, this translates to 110energy. And now we also add on top that Dispensary has a chance to spawn... twice the loot each time it spawns something :D So it can spawn 2 Upgraded Health orbs. Which translate to 220energy per spawn. And you don't even need Arcane Energize at this point - all of your energy needs will be covered.
Equilibrium + synth fiber is a good tip tho. Some people use it on nekros, I assume it works on Lavos to.
Does anyone else get the feeling that energy orbs just never drop from enemies after a certain amount of time?
Arcanes, energy pizzas and even energizing dash don't take up an improtant mod slot and in my opinion are more efficient at regenerating energy, especially arcane energize combined with energizing dash. Unlimited energy for days even as a frame that needs to use it constantly (gara)
