Cause even on highest roll I think Vigilante beats whatever that riven can roll on dmg.
And more multishot is better than damage on Ignis cause of Heavy Caliber being in the build, not just because of diminishing returns but because of negative accuracy being more effective on multishot projectiles.

Yeah, I was thinking status duration would be nice to swap out for Multishot. My testing on mods hasn't shown me much more than Multi-shot is better than damage.
My setup is;
- Riven from above
- Serration
- Heavy Caliber
- Split Chamber
- Primed Shred
- Malignant Force
- Point strike
- Vital Sense
- Vigilante supplies
1) roll having a favorable elemental, toxin, cold, something to build a good one. Obviously for primaries it is toxin cause Primed Cold exists. It's good for purposes of justifying a slot to fit your riven in as you are very likely to have an elemental in your build already.
2) multishot cause it's the best stat.
3) punchtrough on weapons that benefit from it
4) some qol like fire rate or lil bit of reload is fine too
CC and CD generally do not really work on low dispo, Ignis is an exception cause it pushes it to more viable crits and weapon already has above average CD, so CC on a riven is a pretty good stat on it.
For melee it's mostly down to elemental roll, CD, attack speed and maybe damage. Every little bit helps, think it's easier to benefit from low dispo melee rivens than it is for a firearm.
CD wotks better on melee cause blood rush is likely to level up your crits and more CD means less diminishing returns from that (as orange crit damage = yellow crit multiplier + yellow crit multiplier - 1). Firearms have less of that as very few of them reach over 140% total CC for viable oranges.
Here's my akstiletto riven, cold, ms, punch trough. ez viral+heat build and weapon works better with MS value going over 3 and that lil bit of pt for a mow down effect.
It's better than just a cold mod in that slot.
So rivens are worth using on any dispo, it's just a matter of you liking a weapon or not.
Sure, lower dispo has less of a chance to get a good roll cause less rolls are good but it's till worth it. And cause of low dispo prices are generally stupid low, think that akstiletto riven was 120 plat and for such weapon and dispo I do not think it is possible to benefit any more than what that riven roll gives you.
It's my favorite, and since I'm basically indestructible, I'm gonna play for joy. Likely I'll pay the 700-800 plats being asked for on the market. I'm making 100 plats a day, so It's no big deal.
