how to change null star colour?

is there a way to change novas null star colours or do i just have to replace it with something in the helminth? i dont use gold lol. i use purple and white.

if not does anyone have any good replacements? i feel like silence could work on a slowva, but for speedva im not sure. maybe silence as well. thanks 🤍

no sadly. it changes every ability besides null star. there are 2 energy colours and neither change the golden orbs... i guess i just have to replace it

So I just tested. The orbs stay gold no matter what . You can change the color of the trail, however.
I'm not sure if it's intended, but it seems new to me.

If it's golden, maybe make sure it's not instead affected by the 4th color, the one that affects Nova Prime's gold metal

my colour scheme is white, white, grey, white, 2x purple emissive, 1 white 1 purple energy. trust me lol its not dictated by anything on there

Did some searching, evidently this is a "benefit" of using Nova Prime. To make Null Star look unique compared to base Nova, it's gold colored and you can't change it. It was briefly able to be changed some time in late 2018 (and seeing a comparison pic it looked significantly better when you could change it imo) but that was determined to be a bug and was fixed.

I honestly wouldn't replace it, it's a really powerful survivability tool for Nova and there really aren't any Helminth abilities that can replace its direct function.

I was about to say Null Star is an amazing defensive ability, but then I remembered that Fashion Frame is the only true endgame. So, carry on.
