I have to agree, that's why I stay away from Eidolons and Void Storms. They're annoying light shows which obstruct your sight in a significant way. I only have this with Warframe where the game is physically tiring me out because I have to look at an overedited lightshow sometimes.
you guys know that effect intensity slider exists right? or you guys just like whining and moaning?
Turn off Bloom. That already causes insanely strong color booms in your face and reduce effects with "Effects Intensity" slider.
