Now you know how the Grineer feels when some ninjabot attack their base/ship.
Basically... look for the white silver cracks hanging in mid air... they have about a 8 meter radius blast, but they spawn in large numbers and if your not watching will smack you hard.

Your mission gets all funk when you are in the effected area of one about to pop. That said, yeah it is a very disappointing mechanic.

I think someone at DE just really wanted to kill a few people with seizures :P

At the moment until DE calms down with that you can use revenant with mesmer skin to prevent death.

Oh, and you can also shoot those void exploding thingies and they will disappear.

Had low expectations for these void storms, but holy hell DE is good at putting said bar even lower.

I thought they were something you had to run towards to or scan until I read the patch notes. I literally ran towards probably a hundred of them without even noticing that they deal damage.

Literally saw 2 to 3 people getting blown to bits on a cluster bomb of Void blasts, thank god i was using my tanky Umbra otherwise the mission would have gone to hell.

Total PTSD from the eidolon update.
Apparently a dev in homeoffice let his PC on again so his toddler could go on an all out rampage on the effects list.

Does it add something valuable, does it look good? "Gnihihihi *clicklicklick*"

That many of them are bugged and even tent to persist across missions isnt exactly "adding to the experience" in a good way neither.

I have to agree, that's why I stay away from Eidolons and Void Storms. They're annoying light shows which obstruct your sight in a significant way. I only have this with Warframe where the game is physically tiring me out because I have to look at an overedited lightshow sometimes.

Turn off Bloom. That already causes insanely strong color booms in your face and reduce effects with "Effects Intensity" slider.
