Wouldn't it be nice if Syndicates/Factions offered missions where you get a crew member as a reward?
Checking Ticker once every day to see if he has worthwhile crew is just...

I wouldn't mind checking ticker if we had more than just 3 command points to spend on talents. Anything under veil is fine but as soon as you hit veil boarding parties just decimate them.
