please for the love of god fix host migration

uh.....define fix..how the game currently works is hard coded and is working as intended.

If i recall you have 60 seconds...or a dc option.

that's not host migration problem,

I would suggest you go either preformed squad or solo to do thermia,
because joining open public in orb vallis means that you are doing standard bounties.

yes, I know it sucked. very very few players that I know that enjoy doing thermia. so yeah, do preformed squad

bruh you can literally leave the group without having to leave your current open world instance XD just press ESC and click on leave group when hovering above you profile icon top left jeez

people have complained about the host migration process for... always.. they've always complained about it. Sadly, there's nothing you can do about it. They don't host servers, so it will always be a baked-in part of the game.

Never going to change. They have decided that their bug fest game will punish you for mission "failure" or "abandon" - even though 90% of time you had no agency in the matter, it was just the game bugging out. You best best is to forego matchmaking & play solo, it is less prone to issues.

You need to understand what the open world maps are for. They're not MMO style free roam areas, you are still in a small squad and more or less tied to what the others or the host(1) are doing. If you want to do something really specific on them then it's better to create a premade squad for it or to do it in solo mode.

I would be so happy if "host migrations" (It usually migrates to me solo… especially nice in relic unlocks) only happened in open world. But it happens everywhere. And, recently, with some makes-me-stop-playing frequency.
