I just hit legendary rank 1 ten minutes or so ago at posting. Who else has grinded all the way to the current top?

Ill be the noob. I never go out of my way to research or learn unless cornered and confused. Being steam achievements promote rank 30 as the height, and the fact it allows relay blessings, It is nice to know you can go farther.

Its just one of those deals, where if I get the achievement my desire and incentive to push is reduced heavily. I learned a thing today. You can go past 30. Wish steam would update achievement pool. Could you imagine? This game has 300+ achievement potential.

I'd agree with you to a point. 20k endo is not hard to make tbh and as for the plat amount, good luck getting someone to pay 200p. It's worth 100 at best.

1) 20k is underselling it. If you use it on a prime mod its more like 50k and that's a ton no matter what you say.

2) It's 150plat currently with a flood of them on the market. You have no idea what you're talking about.

Endo is easy to get, especially with Arbitrations. It's not really a "ton" unless you don't really play much. And most cores go for 100, people rarely pay more than that for them. I don't know why you'd call someone out for not knowing what they are talking about when you're the one who doesn't. lol

I don't get why it's called legendary 1 if nothing is different, except for the legendary core. Personally I didn't even expect to see any further MR tests from MR30 onwards, and I certainly didn't expect any additional rewards. This is essentially no different from reaching MR31. They even kept the bronze -> silver -> gold progression.

Have to say I felt more epic with a higher number and gold plaque next to my name than I do with my current number 1 and bronze plaque. ;/

It's basically Prestige.

DE is stuck between a rock and a hard place with post MR 30 rewards.

A) Make post-MR30 reward worth while, give more exclusive items.
Result: Community up roar about how DE "force" them to grind through fodders for exclusives.

B) Make post-MR30 reward mediocre, but still worth something.
Result: Community complains it's pointless, not epic.

Just gain ranks passively, and treat the reward / cap increase as a tiny bonus. Who knows, maybe every 5 Legendary ranks we'll get a new Sumdali or something.

im MR14 but my exp capable of go thru 20. Im holding it coz i know my stuff aint that good, i wont embarass myself. Lot of my friends they grind exp most of times and have no idea about the game. But for Legendary 1, all of em must be real expert in this

I like the idea of cosmetics you can only get by reaching certain ranks.

Honestly at Legendary Rank 1, you should get a massive daily rep and focus bonus, so you can finish off your focus trees faster if you haven't already and help you gain reputation faster to finish off any builds/arcanes/amps or whatever else you can buy using rep. Also nice to know your future rep grinds will be a little less tedious.

I mean, the grind to get to Legendary Rank 1 is insane anyway. Lots of time farming, lots of rep grind. Would be a nice bonus.

who tf needs endo at mr30? unless you don't know how to play the game. which, by the time you get to mr30, you either have played for 5+ years, or just don't have a life.

Not everyone maxed out every mod and item by MR30. You pretending otherwise doesn't mean they suddenly own you a new game mode for no lifing to 31.
