Cross save/play

Do we have any notice on progress with this? i feel like we got a trailer saying its being worked on but after that nothing to say how its going or estimated time frame. out of it all, im just curious if theres a time frame to expect it. my whole acc is on xbox and ive switched over to steam so its annoying to switch back and forth.

I stopped playing years ago because I moved from Xbox to PC. I really miss this game, but there's no way I'm starting over again.

I saw stuff like this and thought this too but its just the fact there is no citable evidence of DE imposing a deadline to crossplay/save, if there is I am sorry but I couldn't find any.

Cross-Save meaning that no matter what platform the account was created on, you can play that same account on any platform.
Cross-Play meaning that PC can play with any other platform.

I did answer the question, but at same time Cross-Save never mentions about account Merging so that in itself answers your question.

Simply put, no there is no account merging, You can have a PC account and a Xbox account and use Xbox account on PC and PC account on Xbox if you wanted, both completely different accounts/saves.

Dammit all my primes on xbox rip be nice if they trashed an old account and transferred plat, bet I have at least 20k plat spent on xbox...
