"Today" meaning when you wrote the post instead of the daily average.
It has so much potential.

But I do agree that the player numbers don't rise up very high during weekends and I suppose it's because of the nature of this game. You can't really play it only on weekends, you have to spend some time every day or every second day, but only playing on weekends won't get you that far in terms of progression.
do endgame always have to be about a large group of ppl hitting a loot pinata? or what do you mean about "Raids"?.
and about back story? most of the game didnt have one until recently so i am not sure what your point is here.
also the difference for new and old players is quite different when it comes to how they see content if you were a new player and you would feel pressed to force yourself to reach "End Game Content" in something like warframe i think most would quit due to the overwhelming amount of things there is to take in for a beginner.
but yea sure warframe could use a higher tier of missions like turning Def mission to a larger scale then it is now, but then you will have ppl complaining that content x or y is to hard and they will leave or try to make ppl leave so they get ther will in eventually.
some ppl stop playing the game because they can play the game on ultra anymore.
so yea ofc it is as you say it is only because of no raids in the game is why ppl stops play warframe it is the great wound that keeps bleeding.
the game is far from dead.
not every country still have a stay at home order, only those that were late to the early lockdown party.
Only DE knows how many people log in and play daily.
Why people feel such a big urge to create a thread like that every 2 days. Dont want to play the game? Is it boring for you after playing it for 5 yeas? Then leave it and stop thinking that people should have know why are you leaving. It`s like telling that you are studying the law and doing crossfit. Noone asks yet you have to tell about it every person you meet.
Correction. For Warframe, Steam-numbers *always* have been a fraction of the total playerbase as it's always been possible to launch Warframe without Steam.
Then PS4/XB1 were added. Then Switch. Now Epic. All not within Steam-metrics.
Warframe (China) was also a thing.
Did DE do something to cause stability problems? Are they being DDos'd?
