It's situational now for the most part. Generally speaking the ones most people use are:

Enemy Radar (usually for Index)
Brief Respite (long Endurance)
Dead Eye (Eidolon)
Rifle Amp (Eidolon)
Pistol Amp (usually on Mesa and Titania)
Steel Charge
Growing Power

There is no such thing now.

1) CP is only viable for Tridolons as well as stacking it in premade squads for long arbi or SP. In regular missions, even regular non endless steel path it's near useless. Even arbi if you are staying like 40 minutes.
DE nerfed amount of armor so much that enemies below lvl 150 have near neglegable for a strong build, only few enemies have amount of armor that will make it hard, Demolysts mainly, otherwise meh.
With 4 stack and Coaction Drift it is still very strong, just having 1 in your aura slot while team has 3 other aura mods makes it pretty much a waste of a slot imho.

2) Steel Charge - cause of high capacity it's a good choice to fit those umbral mods which give you actual benefit unlike aura mods. Power Donation with it too when your build can handle it, Inaros being a decent example

3) Growing Power - just useful for bit on edge to reach certain caps, or just because nothing is super useful for random missions.

4) Shield Disruption - very viable against Corpus and very much needed for long runs now that they have shield gate.

Rest are situational and may work only with one or two builds, like one that adds damage reduction in air that works well for Titania of Hildryn (I still use Growing Power on them both), Empowered Blades can be interesting with some strong melee you want to have fun with.
Or one that adds combo duration maybe if you got like riven with disp 2 that has +5s of combo and bit more is needed.
Or holstering aura for Profit Taker, that one helps, especially when combiner with Vigorous Swap.
Sprint Boost for Ivara is neat.

Lots more choices, no more toxicity in chat when someone is GOD FORBID not using CP in their builds as I remember those days quite well....

if you do the math considering how that aura is applied, Growing Power and CP/Shield Disruption are just flat out more beneficial for both Mesa and Titania. Cause it applies the same way as Hornet Strike which is already too high of a bonus with +220%.
Especially Titania as it is very easy to have Arcane Precision active (+300%) on her all day long, just keep GP and buff your entire team with it.

Or use that damage reduction while in air aura if it is that hard to use that tribute that makes enemies just not hit you ever.

♥♥♥♥, you're right. I could have swore this worked differently, but I guess it doesn't.
I feel like everyone forgot Energy Siphon exists... :steamsad:

Because ones you have spoiler mode or zenurik dash that is a wasted mod. The regen is never foing to be enough to properly fuel your abilities.

Its more to get you to the first cast faster but a single dash will often do that better and in a mire sustained way.

Like with what Mhblis says, I personally have gotten to the point were I don't necessarily need Energy Siphon for energy. I have a ton of options already that can keep me topped off and even then, I don't really struggle with energy thanks to my builds.

It's about as useful as Rejuvenation for me at this point.

Eh i guess Steel Charge and Growing Power depending on your play.
Mio Rin Oct 25, 2020 @ 6:00pm
I just use Energy Siphon or Steel Charge nowadays, if I don't need a specific aura to complement my kit (like Pistol Amp for Mesa).
Glad the whole "CP or GTFO" nonsense is over with.

Steel Charge is great just for that extra modding space alone

for me is Swift Momentum
I am a very heavy user of melee weapons in all missions

except eidolons ofcourse
(redeemer doesnt feel like melee anyway)

cause energy hungry warframes are ones with channeling abilities, and energy siphon does not work there. (better pay for energize I guess)

Also Zenurik is obviously the most popular school which kinda makes energy siphon obsolete.

It is good for one thing, newbies and mid level before you unlock the Zenurik ♥♥♥♥. Then just swap it.

my preference is still CP all the time, unless i really need more capacity, i'll go with SC
