Why are my colors all washed out? How do I fix?

As far as i remember there should be an option in the video settings to make colors appear more saturated (color correction maybe). Go check it.

Got sometimes a simluar dark "overlay". Just use operator modus and go back to your warme. This helped me. If you cant use operator modus, well.

I was wondering the same. Try disabling film grain. I don't know why that crap is enabled by default.

Legacy palette has always had a washed out look to it.
There is an option in the settings to turn that off for more saturated colours.

OP said in the reddit link that legacy color is off , color correction also and drivers up to date.
Feels like he should mention this here also.

Took a closer look at the screenshots provided.
They are all on Mars in the sun. No wonder everything's washed out.
The game's HDR lighting is making everything look desaturated in the overly bright environment.
Try having another look in one of the Grineer galleons, or on one of the Earth maps.
