Survive a night in plains of eidolon achievement

I've done this several times already, only today I found out there's an achievement for this ... what am I doing wrong?

Should I stay in from when the alarms start ringing in the grineer bases all the way until the water stops electrocuting you?

Yes, you need to get in before the alarms sound and stay all the way until the sun comes up, You also can't use a revive on yourself.

I don't know if the afk flag will prevent you from getting credit, as some people have said that they went afk and still get credit.

If you're not sure about the time cycle, You can use a site like https://hub.warframestat.us and check the timer.

Thanks for clearing that up, indeed I stayed "after" the sun rose up, but I don't remember staying from "until the sirens ring" until "the sun rises up" :D
