Valence fusion for Kuva weapons
I'm a bit confused about how this system works.

Let's say i have weapon "A" with 30% bonus Electricity dmg, forma and catalyst installed.
Also weapon "B" with 40% bonus Heat dmg, no forma, no catalyst.

As far as i understand it:

1) If i upgrade A with B, i'll get weapon C with forma, catalyst (transfers from weapon A) and bonus heat dmg with slightly higher value (transfers from weapon B).

2) If i upgrade B with A, i'll get weapon C with no forma, no catalyst (since the weapon im fusing to has none of them) and Electricity bonus dmg with slightly higher value (transfers from weapon A).

Is it correct?

Yes

You pretty much got it. Though the new element bonus is whichever is higher x1.1. so either way will end up with an element bonus of 44% because the higher one is 40%.

you are correct

the base damage of the weapon also gets upgraded

The base weapon always swaps to the fused weapon's element. (if I had a Heat weapon and fused a Toxin weapon into it, the result would be a Toxin weapon)

At most, to get the max of +60% added damage, you'd need to do it 10 times, that is assuming you started at +25% on both weapons and never fuse in a weapon with a higher % than the base all the way to +60%. This worst case scenario is pretty unlikely however.

The minimum is once, unless rolling a flat +60% is possible (I've had a +59.9% one once).

There's a table on this page for values and breakpoints: https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Kuva_Lich/Rewards

what is the minimum value to do it once? ah ic its 54.5% but im confused, how does it differentiate between element & base damage? unless the 54.5% means base damage and the element just means element.

It's +X% of the default base damage (i.e. the damage you see when you look at the weapon in the codex or while selecting it to equip it in the arsenal) as base damage for the purposes of modding.

i still dont understand, if i see a 54.5% elec, does that mean its 54.5% base stat & then unlisted amount elec? or 54.5% elec? maybe i need a picture explanation.

I'll use the Kuva Karak as an example:

Kuva Karak (as viewed in the codex):
7.1 Impact
6.2 Puncture
9.7 Slash
=
23 Base damage

Kuva Karak with +54.5% Electricity (as viewed on the upgrade screen):
7.1 Impact
6.2 Puncture
9.7 Slash
12.5 Electricity (54.5% of 23 is 12.535)
=
35.5 Base Damage
