Is the moveset from the Caustacyst the same as the one from Guandao and if not can i equip the Shimmering breath Style Mod? Still new to warframe soo

Shimmerimg Blight is a polearm stance, so no, can't use that stance nor does the Caustacyst have the Guandao's moveset

Before having acquired it? No, unfortunately. Would be a good addition to arsenal/market stats, wouldn't it? You'd have to guess by the look of the weapon at best. Once you have a melee weapon built of course you can then look at the stances it lets you use, though if you're missing stances for that weapon type then you're out of luck there as well.

The wiki will always have this information readily available, I highly suggest using it to save yourself the trouble of confusion later. If you had built the Caustacyst hoping it was a polearm weapon, you would be disappointed, right?
