What weapon is Xaku holding in the Deimos splash art?

Tatsu was added to the game months ago. There's more than one Two-Handed Nikana since Railjack as well.

It is the Tatsu, but I always thought that art was meant to be placeholder, because Xaku actually has a pair of warfans as a signature weapon.

Tatsu was added alongside Wisp and Fulmin in the Ropapolyst update, IIRC.

Oddly enough, it's not Xaku's signature weapon. It's war fans.

But yeah, as others have said it's Tatsu. But if you're looking for a non-rad damage 2 handed nikana they also added Pennant.

Tatsu is Revenant's signature weapon, if you were curious.

on a side note; 2 handed nikana is now my favorite melee in the game, well worth the wait!
