Is Primed Pressure Point worth it?
I've heard mixed opinions so I'm not sure.

Yes it is if you use melee.

mixed opinions? its the most necessary mod for any melee weapon in the game...

I don't think that Primed Pressure Mod is good, because dealing more damage with a weapon is not what you normally want. The most important thing when it comes to melee is their symbolic meaning (e.g. the Furax are a symbol of the hard working class of the grineer, living a live between work, alcohol and sleep) and their overall appearance (The better a weapon looks, the more endgame it is)! Also the animations (especially the long ones) are impotant but definetly not damage. Why do people even think, that dealing damage is important for a weapon? It's totally ridiculous!

I bought 5 of them. They'll be worth good plat later.

It isn't as amazing of an upgrade as primed reach is compared to normal reach or primed fury is but IT is a noticeable upgrade

I think Primed Pressure Point works out to be about +20% more damage on melee weapons if my math is correct.

100 + (100x1.2) = 220
100 + (100x1.65) = 265

265/220 = 1.204545455 = 120%

mixed opinions by people with mixed vegetables in their heads instead of braincells?

basic math presented by Walrus-Sama tells you that you should not even consider not to upgrade base raw damage multiplier that applies to ALL of the damage, both physical and elemental to all the factions

So if you got like 5000 damage spin attack base, added 20% makes it 6000 which is a considerable buff.
Heavy hitting weapons get even stronger buff as there it is all about that one hit so at like 10 000 damage per hit you get it buffed to 12 000.
Bet you guys have loadouts with stronger one hit potential, this is just an example.

Also those 20% are multiplied when you crit, making 2.0x crit multiplier buff your output by 40%.
So 10 000 damage crit is 20 000 but with Primed Pressure Point it is 24 000.

I do not see a single reason not to go for it

not needed, but needed if you min-max builds, which I don't

A mod that scales up your base damage, which also increases the damage that other mods can add? Nah, why would you ever get that. Its better to get the twin grakata skin instead.

what a silly question is that? mixed opinions my аss...
don't you put pressure point (the normal one) not into every melee weapon you use? you sure do - so why NOT using the primed version that offers more damage?

It was theorized, like a couple years ago. Since then, two Primed damage mods have been added into the game, plus Riven mods. It's pretty clear at this point that "Damage 3.0", in that sense, is never happening. Frankly I don't blame them for that, as they would basically have to rework the entire Forma system, and/or refund pretty much every Forma that every player in the game has ever used on a weapon, to make up for the fact that pretty much every current weapon build in the game would be obsoleted. It would take very careful planning and pulling it off exactly right to avoid mass outrage, and to speak quite frankly, those haven't exactly been DE's strong suits recently.
