Rubico: More multishot or more headshot multiplier?
So I've recently built up a rubico. Good riven on it, stacked crit damage, 75% crit chance, got spliter chamber for multishot. Currently using Target Acquired in my final slot. Would I be better served putting Vigilante Armaments in that slot instead for the extra multishot?

The Rubico requires only a single shot to activate its Shot Combo Counter, giving it an immediate 1.5x total damage multiplier on the first shot, and a 2.0x total damage multiplier after its third shot, giving it the ability to quickly ramp up its damage with a single magazine. On the other hand, it has a shot reset counter that lasts only 2.5 seconds, thus reloading at 2.4 seconds will always reset its shot combo counter if there are no reload mods present.
With Harkonar Scope, it's possible to maintain the Rubico's combo through reloads.

I have not built Rubico yet but this seems like pretty good option

I don't see the point of using Target Acquired on any sniper rifle because most of the time you are not shooting enemies in the head, especially if they require the damage the sniper rifles provide(aka bosses with weakpoints).

Also don't most snipers give bonus headshot damage anyway when zoomed in?

I'd say go with vigilante armenants, it'll provide more consistant damage and will help raise your sniper combo counter faster (it'll also lower it faster if you miss) plus you get the chance of boosting your crits, which synergises well with multishot and Hunter munitions if you're using that (which is incredible on a sniper rifle, my vectis prime can one shot a level 140 corrupted bombard if I land a headshot and proc the munitions)

All good advice. I'm primarily using this for teralyst hunting, though I'm finding it's good for general use as well. I do have another question based on Sceles' post, though. If something doesn't have a head, would the headshot multiplier for a sniper rifle count toward its weakpoint damage instead?

I think everything has a head, it's just for things like the infested and the moas it's more directly between the shoulders (or hips)

Edit: for bosses I'm not sure though I believe the weak points banshee makes on enemies does count.

Shooting at an Eidolon's head will activate Argon Scope's bonus, but it won't deal any damage unless it's on the final stage.
