Bless Trinity - to heal the lures and to keep the team alive with that 75% damage reduction
Harrow - nice crit boost for the team's weapons, but mostly to shield the team from the Eidolons' punishing Magnetic blasts after the destruction of each limb by taking advantage of the invulnerability from the first half of Covenant.
Volt - used for his 3rd ability's shields, which are currently the only frame ability capable of buffing Operators' Amps (the Electricity damage buff doesn't affect the Eidolon's shield, but the crit damage buff does)
Chroma - still potent after his bug fix/nerf, used for his hefty damage boost to take down Eidolon limbs very quickly (and now it can apply to the whole team's weapons, not just Chroma's)
Alternatives:
Chroma is still the most popular (and arguably still the most viable) frame for cracking limbs, but he isn't the only one. Octavia, Rhino, and even a second Harrow can also fill this role, as can Ivara, though I personally have not had any recent positive experiences with Ivara in this role. The mechanics of Mirage's Eclipse suggest that she might be able to do this as well, but not having used her I have no idea how nighttime on the Plains affects her already-inconsistent "in light/in shadow" detection.
Oberon: I think he is sometimes used in place of Trinity for healing lures and protecting squadmates, however doing so is neither as easy nor as straightforward as using Bless Trin. I have also seen Oberon used in place of Harrow rather than in place of Trinity; however, while Oberon is surprisingly able to mitigate the Eidolons' Magnetic blasts, he is not even capable of competing with Harrow's crit buffs.
Some squads replace Volt with Rhino. However, I do not recommend doing this, not in the slightest. The only reason Volt is used is to buff the Operators' Amp fire to take down Eidolons' shields faster, something that Rhino is not capable of doing. Since there's another role in the squad already dedicated to buffing weapons to shoot limbs, replacing the one frame capable of buffing Amps with another anti-limb buffer makes no sense. In short, replacing Volt with Rhino, while not utterly useless, is still a direct downgrade in the squad's overall effectiveness.
In terms of weapons: basically anything that does very high damage in a single shot, rather than weapons that have low per-shot damage but high DPS, or weapons that split their damage between several individual bullets (i.e. shotguns). Tigris Prime is commonly regarded as one of the highest-damage weapons in the game, but between its damage falloff and the fact that its damage is split between a large number of individual pellets, it is borderline USELESS versus Eidolons.
You'll also want to look at a weapon that has good crit stats. No matter how good it is elsewhere, do not bring a status weapon against an Eidolon, as Eidolons are 100% immune to all status effects in the game (with one exception: the Void Damage status effect that Operators' Amps can proc). Eidolons' limbs are most vulnerable to the Puncture and Radiation damage types, so make sure you use a 90% Heat mod and a 90% Electricity mod on whatever weapon you're using.
The most popular weapons for Eidolon hunts are Opticor and the sniper rifles Lanka and Vectis Prime. Other possibilities to look into are Rubico and Euphona Prime (primary fire only). Don't worry about your choice of melee weapon, as you aren't going to be melee attacking the Eidolon in the first place.
May I use your long post should another question arise?
From the successful hunts I've been on you need:
A tank (chroma or rhino, maybe nidus if you're mad enough to stay on the plains for a full day before the hunt building up stacks)
A healer (trinity or Oberon)
A support frame for damage buffs (harrow, Octavia, volt)
For the fourth you'd just choose another from above. Though I'm not incredibly active in the eidolon hunts so I couldn't tell you the meta team set up.
Weapon wise opticore and sniper rifles seem to work the best.
Looking for Titania for 3 caps, said no ever in recuiting chat. In some cases it might get you kicked. Compared to the meta frames she's useless. Why take Titania when you can take Volt who can boost time wide damage.
