Is there a way to reset progress?
I've already played Warframe in the past but not as much, got one warframe to 30 and started leveling a second one. Now I've stumbled upon the game again and thought about giving the game another chance but I think I'd enjoy it more if I could start again as I'm kinda lost at the moment.

Is there a way to erase account progress or do I just have to create a new account and play on that one?

Only way to start anew is a new account, though I'd reccomend just sticking with what you have since you have frames and probably a couple weapons and resources at least.

I have only one warframe, Volt, at 30, the second one, Ember, is at 4. I have like 2 weapons for each slot and IIRC I spent like <5 dollars on the game so nothing ties me to that account. I have 250k of the first resource and 8 platinum.

I think I'll enjoy it more if I start the progression from scratch since I've been working on multiple things and now I don't even know where to continue.

Thanks for the replay though.

edit: When I decided to try the game again I thought I would create a new character or something but I remembered wrong and the progression is bundled together, so I was looking for an alternative.

The only way to start anew is like Draconic Creature already answered creating a new account. That being said, if you ever need help on your adventures in warframe feel free to hit me up

i dont think "restart" would help you
you eventualy stumble on same things. because this game don't have much diferent path to do. everething will just evolve into time managment and grind

Maybe I wasn't clear enough. I don't mind the time investment. I mind me being lost in the progress I've made in the past since it's been ages since I played it last.

I don't even mind replaying the hours I've already clocked. I just think the game has better chance of retaining me if I could start from the beginning again.

It'll take you about a week to reacclimate yourself.

Restarting really isn't going to help much IMO you will be asking all the same questions and being confused by all the same new things. The only difference is you are going to have fewer resources at your disposal.

I was essentially in the same boat back when TWW launched.

Well if that is the cast and I hit the resource wall, I can go back to the old account after a few days. Thanks for the input.

You'd probably be better off trying to do something new. For example, try to farm for a new frame + slots for things. All the weapons got improved recently, and retreading old paths should provide you with a lot of fun. You can also just grind mastery rank as that takes you through all the different gear as well. The latter is probably the best to get you back into the game.
