I'm not sure. My friend got a rifle riven from beating TWW and it wound up being for the Zarr, but the wikia classifies it as a launcher.

Launchers and Bows are classified as subgroups of Rifles for the purposes of modding. As such, it is a rifle style weapon.

The zarr is classified as a rifle, not a shotgun. It's called a launcher but that's a sub section of rifle weapons.

I've done that quite a bit in the past and in my experience that always lead to these people creating more and more threads with questions that can usually be answered via twenty second of googling or by simply checking information that is avaible ingame.
