Warframe

Would you keep playing warframe if you had a high-end PC and money?
Would you keep playing Warframe even if you had a high end pc that allows you to play any game flawlessly and on top you had extra money that you could spent on getting all the games you wanted.

Just wondering.
See it as a little, honest survey.

i was burned out on warframe and bought a new PC to play everything. so i bought everything new in the last 2 years which was shiny and triple triple triple A.

just to return to warframe.

red dead redemption 2, Black Desert Online and elite dangerous nearly filled the grind gap in my soul, but you have to be a weird person to fit in those communities. loved the grind though! (!!!)

Destiny 2 was my hope, but most updates are just as disappointing as the fact that i cannot costumize everything. no mods, just some scopes you can change. only one exotic active at a time instead of ALL of your exotics, because lets keep it real and balanced, only the NPCs are allowed to be good looking Demigods. too many ingame barriers, and i am not able to climb stairs in my mental wheelchair. gimme a ramp like in warframe i can roll down and look good while doing it.

so i returned to warframe... floofs and pink neon mental wheelchairs. my style.

it reminds me of a lot of other games... but i can play it my way... i can costumize and decorate every detail. i dont have to play like the developers want me to, like in 100% of the other games we are surrounded with. ramps instead of stairs. i can stay MR4 forever and noone cares.

i think the real reason why someone stays with a game is the community. even a pure trash game can be fun with people you love.

everytime i return to warframe i return to people i play games with since nearly 8 years. other games dont live that long, so i dont have long time friends there.

home is where your heart is. :sparta:
I was in that situation. My PC is in good condition and I bought, played and put aside other games. A good example for this is DooM Eternal. I played that for a little, then returned to Warframe because it plays better and manages to get me hyped again and again, despite some minor issues.
To me, Warframe is an all time favourite, among 4 or 5 other games.
Warframe is bread (or rice, if you prefer) or potato(es).

You can find condiments elsewhere, when you feel like it but you need bread.

You don't need a high performance rig for Warframe. You don't need to log in every day. You don't need to grind hours daily. You just want to ^_^.

You just play while it's still fun. Then go away and come back when it's fun again.

It's not a perfect game. But close enough.

How many times do people have to hear it... Warframe's endgame is fashionframe. If you want raids where everyone 'must' have light level X and memorize all the timed spawns and scripted events... you go find your second fate. Or if you need 'social' content... plenty of those around.

Heck, go to Epic's Game Store. Plenty of free or cheap stuff there. Some of it's not bad. A few are even good. Or itch.io or you know.. Steam ^_^. Or www.rubiks.com
I have over 400 games on steam yet Warframe is still the only game I play consistently.

Best answer so far, imho!
Love it
I have a Alienware about 400 game's on Steam, I play game's I think are fun.
And I like this game, it's fun.
I already have a high end pc, and all games I want (look my library)
and yes I keep play Warframe.
I have all the money I need for games. I don't play modern games, I don't need photorealistic graphics and their content is worthless with a few exceptions, so I play older ones. I don't need a high-end config for them, either, so I'm fine. Still, I play Warframe and I will in the future (if they don't go into P2W directions). I keep Warframe for my mindless hours, when I can't play anything complex.
I have played it off and on since launch. Just like any other game, I play it for a while... get tired of it, and move on. Then I come back when it sounds fun again or I am in the mood. Right now I am playing again because my boy is old enough to enjoy it and his computer runs it easily so we play together.
I have good PC and still play games like Age Of Empires 2, Railroad Tycoon 2: Platinum, Sacred Gold and Flatspace IIk alongside with Warframe and many VR games.
I do have a Good PC and I am able to afford any game I want.
I still play Warframe.

I also play a lot of games that only need a potato to play.
Having a Monster PC does not guarantee a good game experience.
The game needs to be good on its own.

So basically, it's plain, has no taste of its own, and is a staple food for poor people. Seems accurate to me.
My PC is decent considering I built it 5 years ago. Quad core CPU, GTX980. Can still play anything I care to play.

However having nearly 2k hours on this game I don’t play it as often anymore outside of new updates as all I really have left to do is Mastery rank grind and that’s just not a huge motivator.

you play because you like it or you want to play with people you like. i have played on the lowest graphics possible since i started (basic laptop is all i had forever). Its something i play when i need a switch or i want to spend time playing a game with my husband. its more fun playing with him than by myself

Those things are staples pretty much everywhere
