Dex Pixia is not affected by the equipped primary weapon's stats, weapon augments, subtype-specific mods (such as bow mods), Acolyte Mods and Riven Mods.
Dex Pixia does not benefit from the Vigilante Set Mod bonus.
It says it isn't affected by the weapons *stats* not mods. So increase it's damage with ability strength and mods that don't fall into the above categories.
physical (e.g., Sawtooth Clip)
elemental (e.g., Hellfire)
critical chance and damage (e.g., Blunderbuss and Vital Sense)
status chance (e.g., Rifle Aptitude and Thermite Rounds)
faction (e.g., Bane of Infested) If you have the extra mod spot this is actually pretty good. maybe replace a single elemental with it. may wind up doing more damage.
fire rate (e.g., Speed Trigger)
reload speed (e.g., Tactical Pump) Dont use this. its pointless.
multishot (e.g., Hell's Chamber)
magazine capacity (e.g., Ammo Stock) Also pointless.
punch through (e.g., Metal Auger)
general concensus is use shotgun for status, Rifle for crit. side note: Shotgun gets more multishot + fire rate and doesnt use the typical shotgun status effect mechanics.
