Stuck on Umbra quest!

Guys I am stuck at this place please help me out I tried to repeat the mission 3-4 times but it always keep saying use transference but when I do nothing happens. http://prntscr.com/jvj12n

I am able to transference once but when the ballas part ends and we are out again I am not able to get in back again.

The hitbox for it is kind of finnicky.
You just need to spam the hek out of 5 while moving your view all over his body.

My friend had this issue. She was playing as Octavia and I remembered when we fought Tyl Regor, her mallet/resonator ball combo would prevent the Manics from reappearing from their 'I'm creepy and running around near you' phase until the abilities would time out. Based on that, she redid the mission with Wukong and didn't have the glitch. She might have just gotten lucky with her fourth try, but maybe abilities that affect the enemies' behaviors might glitch out the quest? Could it be that it doesn't know whether to prioritize Umbra's scripted actions after the cut scene versus his reaction to the ability (in her case, 'chase the ball and not a player') and cancels itself out? Try a different frame or avoid certain frame abilities/weapons. Maybe it'll work for you, too, but I have no idea. Good luck!

I was playing octavia and I did switch, I also did the chase the ball. Once I switched it worked fine.

You can do it with the crappy amp it just takes forever.

Park your warframe WAY far away from him and then dash towards him, laser him, keep doing it over and over eventually you will get through his shields and be able to hit #5.

its very doable, took me a while though with my starter amp(11).
i would recommend a frame like rhino or nezha though so that if your operator dies a bunch its not game over

Weird... all I did was stun him and hit 5 and it did it fine with the Mote Amp. I don't rememebr how I was standing though, but it was next to him. Could be a small bug?
