Stuck On Riven
So I got a riven that requires 3 head shots while aim gliding.
Naturally I figured the best way to find out how to do this was Google.
Goggles answer was Limbo but sadly it was also wrong. Limbo has apparently been changed to render him worse than useless for this challenge.

The section option was floor vents on the survival mission of Jupiter.
Having run that mission now 5 times I have not once seen the floor vents spawn... I am not sure I can remember ever seeing floor vents that propel you into the air.

So at this point what exactly am I meant to do? The best I could manage with Zepher prime and a maxed out mobilize was 2 head shots in one glide and I only just barley managed that by leaping off a cliff into an enemy base below.

Yep limbo was changed and don't froze ally bullets anymore.

Use zephyr 1st ability may be the best way to do it if you can't do it normal way.

Press 1 (maintain for about 2 - 3s) and zephyr will launch verticaly and hover for 10 secondes. Then just maintain your aim key and you have a 10 secondes aimglide.

I learned this method from some guy here and it's the easiest I know currently: Go to infested defense, let the enemies surround the objective, then glide above them and shoot at them with some weapon that will let you hit many of them at once(Arca Plasmor, Ignis, etc). This might take a few tries if you're unlucky, but it's still by far the easiest method I know.

I tried that but I wasn't able to get any head shots to register with the riven until I did a regular jump. Maybe I just missed. I tend to like blast weapons due to not being able to hit the borad side of a barn >.>

... I can do that.

might require you to bring a friend if its primary riven but i would suggest power strength nova to slow enemies down plus the primary weapon scourge if you throw it down it puts a bubble round enemies heads that attract bullets to make it easier to get head shots

It is a primary weapon riven.
And I dont have a nova but a few clan mates do...
For now. I am just one forma away from the Arca Plasmor so that just went to the top of my shopping list >.>

I still wasn't able to get headshots with Zeph's 1 but that may be the weapon I am using. it is hard to aim over the shoulder witht he green fuzz around him. especialy if in a space with a roof. I will have to find somewhere low level and open and used a scoped rifle with little recoil.
Idealy somewhere with endlessly spawning corpus... back to jupiter survival I go.

I wonder if the tileset generation just doesn't like putting the air vents on survival. I feel like I'm used to getting them pretty quickly when I've gone to jupiter for headshot challenges. Some of the spawn rooms even have vents, though I've had to lure stuff back to them...

Actualy I just got one. It wasnt at all like it was shown in any of the videos I saw. there was just one in a large pit on its own with no way in but down the top.
Sadly I didnt spot it until life suport had failed. I was kind of ignoring the actualy mission part of the mission >.>
But if that is what they look like now that should be easy to spot. I just have to look for the raised wall around the pit and hope for an open space around it.

Zephyr with glide mods, takes 2 minutes max on Jupiter IO solo.
Cause you know, aiming over skipping it, it actually works to move your mouse and put the sight over enemy's head and click that LMB.... strange concept, especially with having over 2 seconds per headshot, some WWII tanks were able to aim faster with having horizontal and vertical aim separated..

Zephyr + pentagium + Baza + IO on Jupiter = EZ mode

This is the easiest way to do this. If you are having a hard time getting the room to generate, you can try running the sabotage mission and triggering the alarms.

It is suggested to use a Vectis for this as you can reload while still aimgliding.

I got this with zephyr sporting the aim-glide mod & a high ROF weapon. I hit a pack of vultures on the plains and it was done. Found them, double jump & glide, then aim and cut loose. But any map that you can one-hit kill the enemy with a machine gun round that has clusters of enemy will do.

*facedesks*

I put on a quick firing weapon that lunches multiple projectiles, ()
Put on a nice durable warframe. (hydroid)
Went to an infested map.
Found a spot with a high ceiling.
Let the rusher infested gather around me,
Looked stright down at my feet,
hit crouch,
hit jump.
Fired.

Job done.

No nova slow..
No scourge trickery.
No limbo power abuse.
No Zephyer Flight Assist.
No Patagium enhansement.
No hovering on vent streams.
No worry about which enemies had the bigest head hitboxes..

Just jump, aim down, and shoot was the answer!!!

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥!
I should have just tried it myself before ever letting Google make me paranoid!
...
More paranoid.

Edit:
and I got a Cernos riven with increased magazine capacity and reduced recoil... for a bow...

Rakta Cernos is overall the best Bow in the game. So what you've rolled is perfect for stealth missions. And Cernos riven fits on that (unlike Mutalist Cernos)

So I would suggest investing in that, or at least giving a decent try to Rakta Cernos as it has both crit and status pretty high so it allows for variety of builds, especially with a strong riven.

Yes I was disappointed to see it didn't fit on the Mutalist Cernos which I use quite often.
I tried it on the Cernos Prime and it fit. It is also good to know it works on the red veil bow too. I am currently working my way up their ranks.
It needs to be re-rolled badly though... I mean.. mag capacity on a weapon that dosn't have one, and reduced recoil on something that will never fire fast enough for it to matter.

Still. I am happy it is unlocked and I get get back to manicly obsessing over my newly matured kitty!
