Why are people putting Range Mods on a Bless Trinity?
I have been reading a few gudies on making a bless trinity for a Ediolon run and see people reccomending putting range mods on a trin.

Bless i sno longer affected by Range mods, so only EV and Links are affected.
So am I missing something ? Or do these guys just not know Range mods no longer affect bless?

You're not missing anything, Blessing range is Affinity range.
Only Mending Unity in Vazarin can alter that.

Mostly because outside of Eidelons, Trinity's normal usage is continually rotating between EV, Link, and Blessing so that she can keep everyone topped up on energy, become very tanky, and keep everyone else alive. With this setup, you can 'mostly' keep team members from murdering eachother accidentially during radiation sorties or other situations where people aren't very good about staying alive.

For an Eidelon build however, you don't need range since you are going to be mostly just trying to keep the lures alive. Instead efficiency and duration is more useful so that you can pop a blessing even when you don't have much energy. EV range is usually not needed since people mostly hang around the Eidelon so will stay in range if you tag a Vomvalyst.

Doesn't really matter outside of ediolons, you need a strong build and wasting 2 slots for range mods on a raid is just a bad idea.

Some people just like running a Link/Bless build. So, if they want to build range then they can, I mean it isn't going to kill you if they do that or not. You do you and don't worry about what other people build.

These are guides written by people for Ediolon Hunts.
Which makes it spreading bad information.

It's because guides are nearly always written by people who are too dumb to even realize that they don't have the necessary knowledge to write them.

dont read guides, watch well known youtubers instead, they tend to actually know how the game mechanics work

You should make your own builds, based on what you know , on what you have and what you think it's best for your gameplay.
Following guides or youtubers is the 1st step into being underwelming or average at best since they aren't great to begin with.

Half of well known Warframe youtubers are horrible at the game and spend more time creating their videos than actually learning how things work.

I seem to recall it being so that Trin can use Link to find Vomvalysts more easily when a lure needs filling. Considering that all you need to max out Bless Trin is a bunch of duration and at least 150% strength, there's definitely modding room to spare.

Yep i used to do it a lot, plus it's a free 75% damage reduction for making the (short) periods on the frame safer. Also make the targeting of vrombalyst on the last stage of an eidolon extremly pleasant as you just have to follow the links.

At some point i prefer using the range link than a redirection or vitality mod, as the gain of actual hitpoint is bigger.

Absolutely not. Half of them put unnecessary crap in their builds that no one needs.
