Report a translation problem
So it constantly mentions “stored damage” for the mallet. Does it use this damage when placed on the Resonator? Or does it keep increasing like “I have 10 stored damage, now I will do 10 damage to everyone until it increases” or is it “I have 10 stored damage, I will use it and have 0 stored damage”
2nd skill RESONATOR is for luring enemies (1st and 2nd skill automatically combine with each other when both skill are active).
3rd skill METRONOME is like a rhytm game, hit the notes at the right time and you get buffs.
- Nocturne gives you stealth on timed crouching.
- Vivace gives speed buff on timed jumps.
- Opera gives you Multishot on timed firing of your primary and secondary.
- Forte gives you melee damage buff on timed pressing of your melee button.
4th skill AMP gives you damage buff, activate all 4 skills to turn Octavia into a death machine that brings chaos in the battle field. The louder the field is the better.
Octavia eats a lot of energy because of her abilities so go for duration and range.

Enemies need to hit the centre and any damage done to it is then reflected back to anyone else in range. So the harder enemies hit it the harder it'll keep hitting back until the duration ends. Obviously depending on the enemy level in your mission limits how far this scales.
Well it's up to you on what kind of build you will be running. My build just centers on duration to prevent myself from constantly casting her abilities especially on solo survival runs.
while i myself who prefers a more melee oriented aproch to combat go for a ton of duration and power str sacrificing range and eficiency but that's just me

i mean, octavia is obviously the most fabulous frame in the game. how you could ♥♥♥♥ up her fasion and not be an idiot is beyond me (obvious joke is obvious).
I'm gonna go ahead and confirm with everyone here that you want duration and range primarily on her abilities (with whatever strength you can get away with). All of her abilities scale EXTREMELY WELL with duration and they are all AOE.
Mallet gets it's damage mostly from enemies shooting at/hitting it. More duration = enemies attack it longer = more damage.
Resonator attracts enemies. More range = enemies attracted from further. it also gets it's damage from mallet. More duration = it sticks around longer = enemies following it while being destroyed by mallet for longer.
Metrinome is a buff. it's weird, but useful. the most significant buff (imo) doesn't benefit from power strength at all (makes you invis). More range and duration = easier for allies to take advantage of the buffs.
Amp is a damage amp (afaik it's all damage) based off of noise level of the area. More duration = longer damage amp = more damage dealt. More range = larger area where you/your team are empowered.
Strength is nice to have, but it's not as important as duration or range.
