Whether it's spooky, creepy, or eerie is probably up to each individual player. As for the man in the all, I assumed it was the Shadow Stalker (or possibly whatever he was before he became the Shadow Stalker) or Hunhow himself.
Problem with that theory is that Hunhow and his kind are vulnerable to the energy of the void itself. The ending of the Harrow Quest more or less confirmed that this is some entirely new entity we are dealing with.
the gimmick of a new disability being featured in every update is just kind of disrespectful to actual people with disabilities. doesn't seem to add to the story or writing. like, the autistic kid didn't suddenly speak to the evil presence because he was autistic or anything, it was like a gimmick

A Tenno is shunned (i guess for being autistic). Because he was shunned, he made only one "friend", the man in the wall. Due to this "friendship" he keeps the man in the wall from attacking all the other Tenno. Possibly due to his autism he manages to singlehandedly hold back the man in the wall from the time the Tenno were "made" to now. He sealed himself inside his warframe and let his real body die. For thousands of years, stuck inside a chained up 'frame, he held back an entity of great power (capable of possessing us, at least to talk. Capable of projecting a manifestation that we cannot harm [as of yet anyway]. Likely capable of a multitude of other things we don't know about yet.).

...pretty sure they made him a hero. I'm not sure how that's disrespectful, but i'll leave it to the Bureau of Being Offended.

No, Jackal seems to have no idea about what he is talking about, because Rell saved all of our collective asses from the man in the wall/void entity thing
