Baro relay ticket thing question
So i have enough money to buy tennocon bundle, but i wanna ask first. The items in it arent THAT good to have which makes the bundle for me worthless except one thing, baro relay ticket. How long is that relay gonna be in game? or is it only for few days after purchase? Does he have everything he has ever brought with him?

I would imagine doing something like that is akin to splitting a discount log in reward?

Normally if you did something like that it would be hard to prove but here you are giving everyone the proof yourself... kind of a facepalm moment don't you think?

Here's hoping you don't get your and your friends accounts banned!

I'm personally not the kind to report such things but you never know, just be careful.

The thing is you are cutting the devs out of the ticket purchase. You are basically sharing the ticket like you would a log in reward .. it ends up being a cash money item that you are gaming the system to take advantage of.

Like I said it would be hard to prove in normal circumstances since people do buy stuff with the intent to sell later... but telling people beforehand that you are splitting one is kind of different.

Actually even discussing it on the forums is probably against the rules as well since it is advertising an exploit.

i probably wont do it then. Damn

Is there some "don't do one-sided trades" rule that I somehow missed?

You are missing the point totally.

As long as he says he isn't going to I don't see any issue with it, and no way to prove otherwise.

Side note- doing a lot of one sided trades would probably get you looked at. If you did it with strangers a lot, especially with items considered expensive/rare it could be looked at as real money trading. You are, by the rules, not even allowed to trade much between two accounts that you own or allow them to be in the same clan. Not saying that people don't get away with stuff all the time, but telling people you are doing questionable things is asking for your account to be looked at more carefully. Better to err on the side of caution methinks.

I don't know why you decided to instill paranoia into OP over something that would never actually get him banned. It's not like anyone here can report him anyway because your Steam username/profile is not the same as your Warframe profile, since they're literally two separate accounts.

It's not taking away ticket sales from DE or any stupid thing like that if they weren't going to buy tickets anyway, and it sure as hell isn't an exploit either. You already have vets who give away items, prime sets, etc. to newbies all the time, I've been doing it for a very long time. I've given away tons of prime items, relics, or even sometimes full sets to help out newer players and have never gotten banned or reported and never will. DE isn't going to care. They would only really care if you're doing it between alt accounts.

OP, don't listen to this. I don't mean to be rude but it's utter nonsense and I don't know why you had to make the guy paranoid. You're not gonna get banned for helping out friends.

What are you on about? What point am I missing?

There are trading rules, and not one of them refers to free trades from one person to a different person. You are talking crazy.

I suppose the easiest way to settle this is to log into the website and ask them how many people can use one digital ticket and if it is ok to share with friends like that. Not like I am DE or anyone else in this thread, we are just offering opinions. If you want the facts just ask them, IDK crap and my first statement on the matter ended in a question mark. I just thought it would be treated like a log in reward.

Or are you saying it is fine to just split a log in reward now? IDK

It's...I'm not sure how you can possibly conflate what OP wanted to do with "sharing" a ticket. That is not sharing a ticket. And asking them if you can "share" a ticket is not going to get the right response because that's worded so poorly. That is not more than one person using the ticket.

Look at comment 5 where I quoted the OP.

I was just warning him not to go around admitting to things he probably shouldn't... that is all.

He probably shouldn't? Again...nobody is going to ever get in trouble for doing something like that. It's in no way, shape, or form similar to real money trading, or anything like that. AGAIN. You are spouting absolute nonsense and making people paranoid for no good reason. DE doesn't care about something like this because it doesn't actually harm them or negatively impact sales. They have other things to worry about, like people who are actually doing things that break the ToS like buying 3rd party plat.
