Warframe Failure to Launch / PC NOOB with Problems

So... I played Warframe for a while on PS4. My friends were all on PC. So, I switched to PC Master race.. Convinced them all to try warframe. They are all having so much fun playing it and ask me when Im going to figure out whats wrong with my computer so I can play with them

I need your HELP!!!!

attempt #1
I downloaded the game off of steam. When I tried to start it from steam it showed the steam preparing to launch game and then it quickly disapears and then nothing....

I looked through the game folder on steam and installed DX9 from inside the game file.

tried again same issue. Steam window preparing to launch game followed by immedate disappearence.

I the uninstalled Norton from my computer and checked Windows Defender to make sure warframe had access

I updated my Drivers on my graphics card and windows 10, restarted my computer, checked to make sure downloads were good

same issue steam launchs prepare to launch screen followed by immedate disappearance little blue thinking circle then nothing...
Tried again with help from a friend who said that I should see Evolution engin running in my task manager.

Same issue. but this time noting that Evolution engin was not appearing in my task Manager.

Uninstalled game from steam and made sure that both the MSI and game where not in my program features/re downloaded game

Decided to try something different by down loading the game off of the warframe website (Not using steam)

Deleted everything again/ reinstalled and checked to make sure that Warframe was in my RegEditor( Something a frined told me never to mess with) It was It was there and had access.

SAME ISSUE.

I love this game and I really want to play it. I love the grind and the RnG God who I dont think Loves me... I want to play and I will not give up, but at this point I have exausted not only my trouble shooting abilities, but those of my Friends...

PLEASE HELP!!!

Im sooo happy..... Unfortunatly it didnt work, but it did make progress the the preparing to launch game from steam finished then it prompted me to let evolution engine make changes to my computer which I infatically said YESSSS... the it shut down.

But thats closer to a solution then anything else I had tried. Also...Thanks to all of you who are trying to help a fellow gamer out!!!!

That fixed the problem where I couldnt get Evolution engine to even show up through steam. But after I click Yes to allow it to make changes it just stops working... Still No Launch scressn

Hey! I'm getting the same issue, have you had any luck? I looked through Windows Event Viewer and it gives me an error every time WF tries launching, saying "ntdll.dll" is at fault somehow.

Lauch steam in Admin mode then launch warframe. Sounds like your system security is ending the process at this point. As it should prompt a admin login requirement.

So, I got it working. I just have no idea why or how. I started about a month and half ago just going into my settings and updating windows and my video card driver and trying to launch Warframe after I retarted my Computer. Nothing happend for a while. like I said I would do this like twice a week, and it never worked, UNTIL.... It did... SO I AM A NINJA NOW!! Thanks ALL for the help

I just fixed it for myself, too! I uh...reinstalled windows after exhausing all my other options. Lots of stuff to reinstall and configure, but the game works again!
