Does not drop Gallium
Absolutely, on Mars it is not, this game wants me to spend platinum and on the resources? What a wonderful idea!

Hi Xorza

Try doing Wahiba on Mars. It's an infestation survival mission and the gallium drop rate is quite good. I've done a few 20 minute runs in Wahiba with Nekros and the usual amount I receive is about 8-10.

I recommend you to check the "All Resources best Farm Location 2018" topic from the Warframe forums for more information.

From wiki

Gallium is a rare component that can be found on Mars and Uranus. It is usually found in quantities of one, but can also found with quantities of 2-3. It is most often found by defeating Lech Kril (Mars, War) or Tyl Regor (Uranus, Titania) rather than normal enemies.

Honestly I have never farmed for it, I always had enough when I went to use any. Just play, soon you will have more than enough of everything... except argon crystals those decay

Never ever buy generic crafting materials with plat.

I just do not understand why the game says that on Mars you can get this resource on in practice it's not. You will not get it, one thing of 6 missions, well, it's a mockery.

What missions did you do?

I find it all the time. Gallium is a silver/grey rock deposit. 1-3 gallium per deposit. Sometimes there's even a deposit at the starting point of a mission. You just have to search for it.

Defense, stripping enemies (I do not know how this type of mission is called in English, sorry) kill boss, and survival.

The wiki specifically states to kill the boss... so I guess the one you got was from the boss mission.

Just redo the boss mission over and over to make sure you get at least one for each.

While you are at it you can farm Excaliber parts

Its the truth. Lol equip a loot finder mod. Defense missions tend to limit you to one location

Yeah that's not the case at all. Gallium is not that rare.

As people said, the boss fight is a fine enough farm. If you want someone to join you with a Warframe built for more loot, can always ask as well. Recruiting chat, even here.
WhySoSalty Jul 13, 2018 @ 5:16am
Devs definitely dont want you to spend money on gallium cause its super easy to farm and instead of crying around and blaming the devs for nothing you could ask for help in the recruitment chat. Surely there are enough bored high ranks who could help you with their nekros but i guess making a crying thread on steam is easier

Out of all rare materials only Control Modules are more common than Gallium and both are so ridiculously common that you should really never run out of either one. Orokin Cells and Neural Sensors are the only two droppable rare materials that you might have to farm at some point. Edit: Oh right, forgot Neurodes, you may have to farm those too. But if you're out of Gallium that means you just started playing the game and are trying to craft extensive amounts of stuff that require gallium specifically.

If it didn't drop I wouldn't have 600 of it. Rare resources are called rare because, surprisingly, they're rare drops.

You'll acquire enough in time without needing to actively farm them, just play through Mars like normal and it'll build up. If DE wanted you to spend your money on resources they wouldn't make them easy to acquire.
