Can I use this on my sentinel to replace thief's wit in order to free up a mod space on my warframe?

Yes? Animal Instinct is a pet mod, so it only goes on pet, while Thief's Wit is a warframe mod and only goes on warframe. Most people do use Animal Instinct on pet instead of running loot radar mods on warframes. But Animal Instinct has a lower range than Thief's Wit. But ususually that should be enough for casual play unless you want loot radar to see loot on max radar range, then you gotta use the warframe mods.
