Is Acceltra going to get nerfed too?

I just want something fun and strong, but i'm scared to invest any time into anything that's above average in this game.

Anyone knows how nerfs/buffs work? Is Acceltra at risk?

If it is a one button clears the map and no other player has fun. It gets a nerf. Bramma is the epitomy of that lately.

Acceltra is fine. It doesnt clear whole rooms and isnt an eye sore either. But it still a decent qeapon to use.

Big difference: Bramma was about letting go once and having a large enough explosion to wipe out a whole room

Acceltra is strong, but still requires some aim investment and more shots fired, and much smaller explosion radius in comparison

They mainly nerf 2 things, Riven Dispositions and anything that has a clear majority usage. If you're seeing a weapon used more than just "once in a while" it's potential to get nerfed is there but unlikely. If you see almost everybody using it, it's going to get nerfed it's only a matter of time.

Either way, if you plan to pick up a Riven, stay cheap and just reroll when you get Kuva from Sorties/Nightwave/Whatever. Rivens are by and far a waste of time unless you enjoy spending hours upon hours for gains that don't really matter unless you're power farming to sell things for plat. MR 28, been playing since CBT and I've yet to encounter anything that REQUIRED Rivens and is still in the game. Trials would've been great for min/max but those are currently gone, new "hard" content almost always gets toned way down and you really just get left with events/alerts that they plan around you trying to power through.

TL;DR:
Invest as much time into something non-meta as you think is appropriate but generally avoid putting all your eggs in one basket because a nerf could always happen one way or another.

Acceltra is not in danger. 1-2 things get nerfed each year, on average. DE doesn't really do a lot of nerfs.

Nerfing is a balancing move. Reducing riven disposition is not a nerf because dispositions are based on usage statics. The more users some weapon has the lower its disposition. Disposition changes are also always very subtle and happen only like twice a year.

Thanks for all the answers, i've hated rivens since they were released and still think they're ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ disgusting so i was definitely not worried about those.

I'll try to farm Acceltra (which i've heard is very painful to do).
