Hey there.

What exactly "enhancements" does GILD do ?

Gilding an Amp is free for level 30 Amps, and requires Adherent rank with Quills. Gilding resets the weapon to rank 0, but grants it a custom name, improved stats, the ability to install a Focus Lens, and the ability to color the Amp.

A gilded crafted Amp gains +10% Critical Chance, +0.5x Critical Multiplier, and +10% Status Chance. The default Mote Amp does not gain any stat increase.

It lets you name your Amp, it increases its stats(+crit chance&damage and + status chance), you can also put a lens on it. The first amp(the one you get for free) cannot be gilded.

It deals physical damage to regular enemies.
