Should I refine Requiem Relics before opening?

Since they're not super quick to come by, opening them intact might be a waste of time. It's pretty hard (or at least takes a long time) to find requiem radshares though. I don't know what the 'best' method is. And no, I don't want to just buy the mods for platinum.

I typically just refine them to 'Exceptional', usually means I roughly break even on void traces. however I do have a decent surplus of them.

If you only have a handful 'Radiant' will probably be your best bet as that'd be a 40% chance for either requiem mod (20% individually). Compared to the 22% (11% per) of an Intact.

They're byproducts of kuva farming and of chasing liches. The four of them are my four top relics by copies owned by far, and they'll be yours too when you get around to making decent rivens. Open them intact.

Hmm, well I haven't really started on the riven business and only just started liches too. I don't really need to farm kuva missions at this point (except for the relics of course). I have more than enough kuva.

if you REALLY need something that's uncommon there, aka requiem mod of sorts then do a radshare.

Otherwise just pop them randomly from time to time and you'll be fine, rare items are not worth it, uncommon is not being used like crazy, you are not killing 5 liches per day so it's fine.

If you do Liches somewhat frequently then you have piles of requiem relics anyway, also it is quite a good practice to do a kuva flood whenever it resets (each hour) cause it has 100% drop chance for requiem relic.
Except when kuva flood is some mission that would take too long, like Sedna Assassination or Pluto Assassination. Nova can carry pluto ez but for sedna I feel like you need semi competent team and that is not really something that grows on trees, I have real bad memories there as people just seem to eat crayons there or sniff some glue.
