As for the videos and subtitles, can't do anything about them
The line "Multiple bio signatures detected" really sounded like it was coming from a basic white girl, not even exaggerating.
DREAMERS!
and its great, i can relax first time playing this "development drama" ))))))))))
let me make a joke - beside i like rebeccas voice )))
they simply dont care about a 7 year old voiceset, they care about their income, to 100 % - you can see it in their general development )))))))))))))))
LOL
Indeed. Voice lines have no emotion and passion which makes these dialogs painful to listen.
Voice lines like "Back on your feet, warframe!" are rarer than Vengeful Revenant mod. Marking pickups lines were disabled rather fast which is a shame imo. (I have not heard them for years) It would have been cool idea for others, who have completed The Second Dream, to see and hear your operator say "Marking mod." or "Mod found!". I don't always even notice if somebody has marked something.

I went on Wikipedia and it says there are voice lines for "Upon taking serious damage". I have played the game for 6 years and I have NEVER heard these voice lines and didn't even know such voice lines exist.
Too many dramatic breaks - "Tenno..................................................there is a high ranking target........................................................................take care of it".
I'm like already done with the mission and she ain't tone with that line.
LD starts right away, straight to the point, has her flavor to it and it's up to people to like her or not but that was job well done.
Ordis too, "Oh how scandalous, Alad's system has a back door, shall we listen in?" - just perfect execution of something so nerdy that only cephalon can get excited about it and voice actor did make that happen and again, you can like it or not but job is well done.
Another point would be that she is too bland, too characterless cause apart from dramatic breaks to add sense of weight to her words there is nothing much, she seems to just read the lines for the second time ever and that's it. First time being just before the recording.
Rebecca has a good voice, as someone who has worked for 4 years on the radio I feel her pipes are good for it, she is loud enough, has a fat tone, not piercing, pronounces stuff in such way that every word and is loud and clear.
It's probably that she struggles to get into some character apart from her self. Cause even on streams she does seem to get distracted by everything and her sentences can take way longer than they should for audience to to keep their attention.
Cause if you talk fast people will try to keep up with you, you may lose some but not much.
If you talk too slow people lose focus cause when they know how sentence ends they tune out and after that good luck calling them back.
Wish some training she can probably overcome it and do a better job. Now that they can afford actual voice actors it's really lacking to have one of main characters to lack proper treatment.
However, now that I think about it, the other Sentients we meet who can speak have more emotion in their voice than Lotus. Hunhow's a little robotic but has this sinister tone in his voice, which I guess fits his theme of being the big murder Sentient. Erra barely sounds robotic at all to me, which caught me off guard at first, he just seem's like a normal dude speaking.
It is. I remember that she sounded different back in closed beta and that they actually redid her voice lines.
i agree with this, the whole point is that she shows little emotion. and i think the voice lines are very well executed (except for that "oh-ROH-kin" line in the derelict vaults).
i also like how she doesn't embellish the way other mission characters do and don't act needlessly peppy.
if anything, it is ordis jar jar binks shtick that annoys me, but i dont really mind.
while i like the character of little duck, i am bothered by her obsession with clown cars - is such an obscure reference still a thing in-universe?
anyway, i call YMMV, and i enjoy the difference between characters. but lotus is my favorite.
