Riven mods appearing and disappearing from inventory

Hi there. I'm a new player so I'm not familiar with all the specifics, but sometimes when I go into my mod section on the orbiter it tells me I have 5-6 veiled riven mods. When I go to my equipment area they don't show up. Now when I go back to my mods section they are gone too. Sometimes they are there and sometimes they are gone. What's up with that.

When you are in your Ship's MODs collection make sure you do not have Filters On. Also,
each Riven is for specific weapon and are not visible to any other weapons in Upgrade window where you mod weapons.

No I have no filters on. I'm viewing the All selection. When I open the mods section and scroll to the right sometimes I see them and sometimes I don't. They are litterally sometimes there and sometimes they are not.

There is a dedicated category/filter for rivens in the mod section, do they not all appear when you are looking at that (no scrolling involved)?

Hm I don't have a filter for Riven mods.

if you look inside the mod station in your ship there are a row of small icons above the grid of mods. clicking these will show only mods for specific gear items (like warframe mods, melee mods, pistol mods, etc).
there should be an icon near the right end of this row that looks like some overlapping triangles, and clicking this icon will show your currently owned riven mods.

Yes I know what you mean. I don't have that riven option in the mods section. Like I said, sometimes they show up and sometimes they don't. It's either bugged, or I'm at a stage in the game where I can't "view" these things and it's messing with me by sometimes showing them.

i just remembered. i think they are "locked" until you complete a certain story quest, cant rememeber exactly which one though. but they are linearilly unlocked anyway, so if you keep doing them you will get it in short order.

I see. Then I guess me seeing them sometimes is a bug...

Theyre just filler unvielded riven mods for each weapon type, dunno why they appear or what purpose they serve but they just show each riven type available aka. archwing, shotgun, rifle, secondary, melee , zaw and kitgun. It appears for everybody i think when you just select riven mods in your mod section.
