Thrown Melee Keys???

Hi

Probably something that is obvious that I missed but asking anyway. Some of the melee weapons in their description say they can be thrown but never is there what key to press to do so. I checked the key bind list & can't remember seeing any keys for throwing melee or even a melee thrown entry in the list. So if anybody knows what are the key(s) to throw melee please pass on info.

If I remember correctly it is their heavy attack that throws them, have you tried that?

There are two ways to throw them:
- switch to full melee mode and press your heavy-attack button
- equip and switch to a single-wielded pistol and hold your quick-melee button

Ok thanks for the input. Tried out what you said. Apparently you have to go into melee mode for any actions specific for your melee weapon. The one I had of which I can't remember the name, a shield and sword. Didn't get any shield throw as it described but I did get some fancy shield bash followed by pretty sword antics which I didn't get outside of melee mode. That was with heavy attack. Hold e didn't do anything out of ordinary in or out of melee mode.

So will have to see what happens with the next 'throw' melee weapon I come across.

The sword+shield combos are special, it depends on your stance. Try holding right-click and then pressing melee.

If you want a proper thrown melee I think glaives are a better option.

Glaive weapons can be thrown with a grounded heavy attack or by holding the melee button when you're dual wielding it with a one handed secondary.

The Wolf Sledge can only be thrown with a grounded heavy attack.
