Spoilers - the end of the fight

(Tried to make title as vague as possible to avoid any and all spoilers)
At the end of the boss fight with the queen, you have three options to kill her. I've seen what happens when you and teshin kill her, but what happens if you leave her to rot?

I let Teshin kill her. Figured he'd kill her if I let her live. Surprised, am I! But now I have to deal with her sister. Was hoping the sister would rebel and become my fwend, seeing as the other one kept calling her worm (despite being a worm herself). Other sister could hang out, we'd get in trouble picking on Corpus! We'd have all the fun!

If you let her live she just sluggishly slithers away into her worm-throne, swinging her larvae-butt side to side. I figured, if I now hold a scepter, Teshin Dax at my side AND kuva - she's kinda powerless. Would be much more... usefull in this crippled state, rather than dead. Who know where else she will pop up in the future?

Yea since they gave option to kill or let live, like you said earlier, they split lore. So they kind of have to "resurect" her somehow to heal the lines.

Perhaps, she still might hold a lot of political everage in grineer empire. However, without her scepter she kinda lost the "magic" part of her powers, which in her case - it's pretty much a death sentence for her. Actually, that's probably a reason for why small queen started gathering kuva at such rapid rate - older queen held a very condensed mass of purified and refined kuva in her bottle, which is probably one time use and most likely expended upon the Continuity. With that kuva gone - Continue is broken and most likely elder Queen is facing some serious health issues at the current time (or just outright dead in some llore lines).

Actually I kind of completly disagree with this. Granted we'll have to see how it plays out but the only thing known about the kuva in that cepter was that the Dax couldn't disobey it.
If I remeber correctly every last guardian also had a cepter with kuva that protected them. Therefore I think it took the queen who has the loyalty of the grineer (without needing any magic mumbo-jumbo) and all the knowledge she had as an orokin anyway maybe 5 minutes to get a new cepter. Her knowledge as an orokin actually also implies that she could maybe construct one if need be. It depends on how mystic that liquid turns out to be. Even should that not be the case you commited the classic hero mistake letting evil live to do stuff another day.

The possesion of others bodies seems entirely possible without the staff she'll simply have to setly for a non-tenno. Maybe not even that if they really came up with the technology and didn't simply loot it somewhere. And that other hypothetical tenno that would then succomb to her?
Well who's fault would that be.

For me the fact that the option to kill her was there implies that in the future she can't be that involved in anything since all the branching possibilities would require that much more effort in programming quests from this point on. So the plus there is obviously that my attempt to blame you for her further evil deeds will also not happen.
Lastly even letting her live a being absolutly consumed with hatred or maybe greed of you and the power of an empire behind her doesn't seem in the slightest like anything that would benefit any tenno.

Perhaps. The fact that every single guardian seems to hold some kuva with them kinda completely botched any theory on how Queen's one is special (though, they might just use similar bottles). The problem with any theorycrafting about kuva and grineer Queens right now is that we're not even given any information on what exactly kuva is nor what precisely it does. Grants you immortality? Grants you ability to switch bodies? Grants you knowledge to do so? Attracts the "souls"? Taps into the Void? And how does it "poison your blood"? Also, scepter might be special or might not be - I suspect it is, but it looked to me very un-Orokin, which means - most likely it was produced after the fall, by Grineer, and can be reproduced.

Also, I'm starting to kinda regret not killing her, I suppose. Though it was funny to watch her slither away, wouldn't mind repeating it.

From how the Queens looked like the Grineer instead of beautiful people, it wouldn't surprise me if they were using clones for their continuity. Maybe the Alpha Queen is the entire reason the Tenno awoke. She needed a much better body than a clone. Just a thought.

Well a lot of the point in TWW was the slug queen wanted Tenshin to bring an operator to her so she could steal their body because the one she was in was rotting away to nothing which would result in her death.
Letting her live simply just prolongues her death sentence maybe by a few days, weeks or months, but she's still doomed either way.
From what I can gather though, the reason she chose a Tenno body over a clone or somesuch is possibly because she cannot steal the body of someone that does not possess the transferrence powers of the Tenno, you were her one and only chance since she was using Teshin to bring a Tenno to her. Without the scepter to control Teshin, she has no means to lure a Tenno in person to the fortress anymore.

Those are just my thoughts on it.
