but because of the aura polarity system, these two effects aren't freely interchangable, so people will tend to prefer having the compatibility with Corrosive Projection + Energy Siphon over having compatibility with Rifle Amp.
Growing Power adds some decent potential to V polarity auras, though. but it's a bit annoying to get and I think pricey to buy.
I've seen people suggest sometimes that auras shouldn't have polarities and should instead just give their max capacity amounts by the default, but it seems really unlikely for that to ever be changed.
Mainly it's just the natural tendency of most people to flock to whatever the meta is at the time. Also, most people who use V-polarity auras often will just use Steel Charge thanks to the four extra mod points it provides when put into a properly-polarized aura slot.
On an unrelated note, when did Speed Holster, Sprint Boost, EMP Aura, and Dead Eye suddenly become 5-rank aura mods? Because I sure didn't rank them to 3/5 intentionally...
Also, if I owned a warframe twice with different polarities, it would make sense to have one made for Rifle Amp and one for other auras, right? (Except for the fact that it'd take a lot of time.)
