Ok DE....here we go again!

What you have done with corinth prime? No more smoke things when using alt fire? No automatic detonation? Diferent reload animation?

Sorry to say DE but corinth prime its a big mess!

Corinth now has a magazine and remote trigger for alt-fire (press the button again while projectile is airborne).

Also, there's already a thread on this here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/230410/discussions/0/2144217547141313327/

Then Why would you open another thread knowing that there is one already where we discussed extensively all the points you raised on this thread?

Do you not get enough attention at home?

Alt fire is better imo.
Can decide when to detonate which is a huge plus for me.

Corinth P in general is a huge upgrade - sure some people liked the shell reload but the magazine reload is just better for the larger magazine size (besides the fact that it has an awesome animation) - alt fire got buffed in every way, fire rate was increased

TLDR: Rather than power-creeping the corinth to oblivion (by increasing its CC / CD) they patched up its weaknesses with its prime so its now a super solid shotgun that you can bring to basically any mission type / level (within reason, ofc)

secondary fire is weaker than one from Corinth, deals more damage sure but that is irrelevant if it was crippled in terms of status - multishit does not work for secondary fire mode.

Sure, it kills low levels, noice, useless otherwise, on regular Corinth your air burst did bunch of status effects so with like Viral+Heat you get to scale your Corinth while with Corinth Prime your primary fire is everything and secondary fire is a gimmick that has no application.

Corinth is a good Jack of All Trades and that still stands, just makng primary fire status viable and destroying secondary fire's potential to do status is terrible. It only deals one status effect now thanks to multishot removal which is a flat nerf even if damage is higher.

If you gonna run Corinth with the default firemode, you better of getting a riven. But both are pretty solid.

And have DE confirmed this to be intentional and not a bug?

If its intentional then I agree - if its a bug (which I'd like to assume) then what I said still stands

Multishot adds projectiles in the UI, none of shots I fired ever has more than one projectile.
(Hell's chamber dictates there should always be 2, I also have a riven with multishot which puts total to +200% multishot)

I did not post it as a bug, though it was more obvious that it does not ever fire it. So no clue on what DE thinks, either way it's bad and underwhelming for what's a Mr14 weapon. It is not worthy of it, primary fire is solid af but secondary is a joke.

Always report these things.

As for the explosion, 50% SC on prime version 28% on regular.

And you are 100% sure the projectiles arent just stacked closely? Like with Azima's turret where it does launch another one with multishot but they are so close together everyone kept telling me MS didnt benefit Azima's turret.

If you sure and the fact that it shows in UI. It does sounds like a bug then.

Havent gotten my hands on Corinth P yet so cant test this for myself.

50% on single projectile is way lower than 28% accros multiple projectiles - it is so much lower that it's not even in the same realm because how math works. As stated, it is a flat nerf to status capabilities of it, huge nerf.

multiple projectiles are capable of doing multiple status effects. With Corinth Prime's air burst it does not happen which suggests it is indeed - one projectile. One status effect is max it can do which is not the case for regular Corinth where multishot applies to air burst.

Same as for any other weapon, each projectile has it's own status chance and with multiple projectiles you can deal more than one status effect per one shot. So no visual inspection is needed, just count status effects across reasonable amount of shots - I use the weapon and I went in simulacrum too to make sure and fired more than 20 shots with 80% status chance (added one mod for status) and in no shot did more than one status to each enemy.

Regular Corinth does more than one, it has lower base status on air burst but each projectile can deal it's own status which made it a status beast, Viral+heat in the crowd meant it is very likely everyone will be hit by both Viral and Heat which made it really good imho to scale up against tougher crowds. Now air burst is just trash.

If you detonate it, you'll see one damage/status tick off each mob affected. So it probably is one 'grenade', regardless of MS %.

On the other paw, you can throw it pretty far and detonate it where and when you want to. The blast is many times stronger to boot.

Is it worth it? You lose most of the the crowd SC but gain a bigger hit where you want it. Prime doesn't seem to handle tough targets as well as regular Corinth but clears trash faster.

I normally dump the regular version of a weapon when a Prime comes out, to free up a weapon slot but Corinth? I'm going to keep the regular version as well.
