Brief Respite is an aura mod that will give you shields on ability use, and the Augur mod set bonus works the same way, and stacks.
You probably already did this if you're running the Rakta dagger, but modding Heat onto your Balefire Charger will let it deal Radiation damage. Do the same with your primary and secondary, perhaps on a high status-chance set, and they'll make the Rakta very good at restoring shields
Radiation is already good against heavier Grineer, like the Bombards and Gunners. Infested are weak enough as is, so I wouldn't really worry about them. Your biggest enemy might be the Infested Ospreys if they try to gas you, though, because Toxin ignores shields completely.
That works only if energy is spent on the ability, which isn't. The only Auger mod worth using is Accord, for the 180% shields.
can just fly under exploiter orb for day if i want. 2xarcane barrier will do. testing 1 barrier and 1 aegis now.
i kept my normal weaps to oe shot stuff if needed if ou cant blow it up with the battlefire.
As others said, the Augor set's bonus doesn't work on Hildryn. Her abilities use shields to cast, so there is no actual 'energy' usage, therefore the bonus effect doesn't happen.
I did test it on the off-chance that it would work, since it'd be the most broken thing imaginable (gaining shields by casting abilities that should take away shields would be beyond broken), but nope, the set bonus does not detect the use of shields as using energy, as it should be.
