Is Chroma Worth Buying

I cant STAND Rathuum. Why they decided that a frame should be locked behind such utter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is beyond me (but if i had to guess its so people like me would gt so infuriatd and tired of trying to farm it that they buy it)

What i want to know is how good Chroma is and if hes worth his price tag

Buying? That thing? Either farm it or ignore it. It's real platinum sink and time waste to make it decent while other frames are cheaper to upgrade enough for sortie level missions or even long few hour survivals. Also his playstyle is really something not everyone will like so if you are unsure about it just skip it for now and come back to it when you have enough time and patience to deal with grindy way to get it.

But what makes it much much more bareable are friends. Bring some with you. You get more mobs and it's really fast. You need two arenas for one Kela. It's pretty fast. We did 4 arenas and two bosses per day, it takes 30-40mins and you keep your sanity.

And no, I would not pay platinum for Chroma. But I don't play him. Only leveled him, wasn't impressed by anything I saw, and shelved him.

Even if its not my thing, i know hes a decent frame for Specters. I have a cosmic slot to fill and i wanted Chroma to fill it

He seems like a cool frame. But anyways, i dont exactly hav any friends that play. Its just me and my brother, who dosnt have any frames for doing Rathuum. Besides, 2 runs a day itl still take eons to get. Pretty sure the chas and helm are both 40% drops, making the sys 20%. At least thats how it is with other frams if im not mistaken

I agree. The price of normal frames bought through the market is usually more than that of their prime counterpart. In all honesty im surprised thy dont bother changing it, since they more or less control the value of everything on the market

Its just mind numbing how stupid this farming is. And i dont even know the pain of getting Equinox, who is evidentally harder

really I think it took me no more than 20 runs to get all of equinox's parts maybe 3=5 minutes per run the only 2 frames that really took me a long time to obtain were mesa and atlas... getting the pherilac pod bp drop from juggernauts is horrific after that the farming his actual parts was incredibly easy... then mesa farming the alad v nav coords to make a bunch of keys was rather tedious since it takes 3 per key and you need to do 3 missions per nav coord during invasions or get to the b rotation in derelict missions and hope for 1 or farm hive caches and hope for 1... I only got into 1 key share and ended up burning through 8 of my own keys it was worth it though mesa is quite the beast...

oh and I think chroma was way harder to obtain than equinox I hate the sedna arenas they are so tedious... then Im in a 2 man clan and of course we didnt have any of volt researched since we both started with a volt so i had to wait through the bp research then the neuro... so much effort and I dont really use my chroma... frost chroma is a great tanky frame but Id rather just use my nekros prime less upkeep and more loots...

Iv bought many cosmetics, i dont judge on that xD if you ask me theyre not a waste of plat

but buying from th markt is. I made this post basically to get approval for a bad decision :P and most are pointing to "dont buy" so thats that

I can get Inaros, you reminded me to do his questline. I do also needta grab Frost Prime before hes vaulted again in a month, unless thats not how it works.

Chrome just seems cool though so thats why i wanted to get him xD goal of the game is to hav fun aftr all

Chroma takes alot of investment but he's brutal.... he does high damage has huge defesnes... and his ONLY flaw is needing life strike to keep his health up... i also dislike that his buffs aren't toggles... having them drop off constantly is annoying BUT i'll admit he's amazing... but suffers from same issues that inaros has... you'll use one or two of his skills and the rest get tossed to the wayside...

If you want Chroma easy then here is how to do it kiddos.

Ash prime can instakill all but one of the executioners using bladestorm just run around the map collecting energy and put three stacks of blade storm on the executioners and they WILL die. That easy, beat the level 80 level in no time without a single death.

He already mentions that he used Ash, albeit using lethal teleport with covert lethality dagger, same result in the end. The problem is not the arena is hard, but tedious to do it everytime one want to get to Kela.
