Whipclaw deals SO MUCH damage once you build you melee specifically for it, like no Blood Rush or Condition Overload, no range mods and make use of that space for critical stuff, riven, damage and elementals.
And Venari can heal stuff no one else can like Excavators or just anything that is allied.
It's not "OP" frames, it's basic modding and understanding what you play with.
But enough bashing, we can find solutions : you can ask on chats (either clan if you have one, recruiting, or even official forum or steam) to find people to help you with a premade team. If you want to go solo, you have decently cheap setups, but I'd dvice to leave the party open, more mobs spawning makes it easier.
For Primary, Ignis wraith is good (I can give you a free blueprint if you ask me ingame, I just ask for a blunderbuss in return), but you can also use the Amprex, or the Arca Plasmor. These are the "cheesing" weapons, you can basically use anything if modded decently.
Secondaries... I like to use the Staticor, with a bit of fire rate, it's just a spamming of death in AoE. Since laser revamp, Atomos is nice for the "aim in general direction, and things die". As for primary, it's mainly exemple of the easy way.
Melee now... I really hate the maiming strike / Aterrax combo. Not only the mod is expensive for people not owning it, but it looks stupid, annoying, and the results are meh. Cheap alternative is Guandao, for its low MR that staff is neat, but if you fear for your life, Hirudo comes with an inate health regen.
Now for the frame, and that's basically the whole roster you can choose from, depending on the amount of work you want to put in (between press 4 and win or actually play).
For the "press 4", you have Volt, Saryn, Equinox, probably Banshee (but I never tryed her there). I know other frames could work, that's just on top of my head, and the builds require nothing too fancy (like 0 arcane).
Going with Zenurik focus school for Energy dash is kind of a must-have tho, that energy regen is so good.
Getting Khora isn't that hard, it's just long as RNG isn't friendly with everyone.
I'm not capable of doing even one Tridolon per night... even a Teralyst is a challenge, and the Nightwave "hunt or kill an Hydrolyst" had me ask every ingame night on the recruiting chat for a group for a couple of days.
My most advanced arcane is a rank 1 Resistance, and I don't think I'll ever own anything more advanced than that.
That never stopped me to do everything else in the game tho, most of the time solo, from Sorties to Arbitration without (much) issues... Sure Arcanes could be nice, I'd love to get my hands on those shiny overexpensive ones to play around with builds, but that's just fancy QoL, not paywall or necessity.
As for getting better at Tridolons, get a good amp, x27 is meta now as it hits like a truck and that should be enough for the most part. Madurai Void Strike REALLY helps.
You can build like Volt for Tridolons and look for 2x3 or 3x3 on recruiting, you will do fine, you basically just need to place shields close and at decent angle so people can shoot up trough them.
Few Tridolons and you will get that amp, then you can do anything.
It's just that soloing past the Teralyst is too hard for me, maybe I'm getting too old for this, and finding a party in chat sucks, takes days if you're not "100+ caps".
As for Elitism on recruiting chat, well there will always be some. But that is not majority there.
With 223 you can do public runs, for public runs I always run Trinity just because she keeps lures alive and can maintain any squad.
Propa for the scaffold
Certus for the brace (+20% CC)
