Suggestions for getting scans when I have scanned everything already?

Any suggestions for the scan daily, I have run earth a few times but no plants yet on the maps it gave me...

Just scan them as usual. You'll even get a bit of Symaris standing from it.

If you're using Synthesis Scanners, you can still manually scan anything you've already completed the Codex entry for (Helios won't auto-scan them though), earning you a tiny bit of Simaris standing in the process. This also works for the Nightwave challenge; in spite of having completed the Codex entries for nearly everything, I just scanned Ghouls while running the bounties until I completed that one.

I tried the synthesis scanner yesterday and gave up because it did not seem to be working, is working now... but not on everything... Does not work on the orb spiders in Vallis which is what I tested it on yesterday, TY people.

Wasn't scanning for me either... so i went to low level Earth locations and scanned flora like there was no tomorrow. Pwetty floweeess

I just ran my normal Ivara on Adaro for stealth scans to max simaris standing for the day.

By "normal" I mean whenever I remember I still have some new sentinel precepts to get from Simaris merchant. I usually forget to actually do it.
