Chill, please.
Second, it's yet another form of completely unnecessary powercreep.
Third, it's DE going back on their word, as they had already stated previously that they weren't intending to make Umbral polarities forma'able.
Lastly, it's a supersonic slap in the face to the people who already spent 6 to 8 regular Forma per frame to be able to add the Umbral mods to their builds, which honestly shouldn't have been allowed in the first place - as far as I'm concerned Umbral mods should have been exclusively applicable to Umbral frames.
They also said they wouldn't add Vacuum to pets, and yet we have Fetch, and game is better for it.
DE: *Adds something to make your builds stronger*
Warframe Community: *Screams*
DE: *Suprised Pikachu*
So, developers changed their minds and now everyone hates them for doing it?
for me it's just more powercreep, and i had a lot of uneeded experience with devs going against their own words, which makes them less trustworthy
Pretty much a 10/10 sum.
And that slap hurts, did so many builds around it because of a word and now it turns out I wasted forma and hella lot of it.
All I see is a really bad move, I really hope this is super insanely limited. But guess we cannot count on any word on it.... I do not like it.....
And again, it is not a word about that 4-wheeler vehicle that is broken, it is about huge powercreep and a huge investment for some people.
So it is not a design decision, it really feels more like a bait and switch.
Being more powerfull in the game of power obsesed people is bad?
it creates a worse place to be, power creep is not huge but it puts even bigger wall between casual and newbie players and power crazed tryhards and that is a problem.
Adding more power can be done without breaking your words, like, they could have just made all warframe augments to fit in exilus slot. There you go, more power to builds, no one having the advantage.
This way once you spend 1000 hours doing all the builds and you finally reach Wolf of Saturn - you figure out that you have to fix all your builds again. Bad concept, breaking such promises, doing bait and switch for power creep just so you can make some money is a bad image.
