Thermia Fractures Sealing
hi

is there a point of keep doing it after you got the 100?

Each fracture takes 300 seconds or five minutes. So four fractures is 20 minutes minus all of the travelling to get a coolant tank and to find them. Each run of 4 only gives you 7 points, so for 100 points you require 14.3 full runs (meaning one coolant tank used on four fractures). Takes just about 6-7 hours (assuming no failed runs) to completely farm out all of the points for the fracture sealing. Yeah, kind of an understatement to say they take too long on top of being as boring and tedious as mobile defense missions already are.

I could farm out two prime frames faster than that.
They definitely don't take five minutes, it's like 3 to 4 minutes, I haven't counted, but I always finish the four of them before the mission timer is at 20 minutes, and that includes travel time too.
I mean, it's still slow as hell, but you exaggerated it a bit there.

Each point of sealing progresion takes about 1.5 seconds, so it takes 2:30 minutes to do one fissure, 10 minutes for a full run of dilluded termia, about 2:40 hours to get opticor vandal, maybe some more counting travel time and pauses to do stuff in Fortuna.

Diluted Thermia is probably a crafting material for an item - similar to Plains of Ediolon Infested event.

I didn't exaggerate though. I literally set a timer multiple times when starting fractures to see if any variation existed. It was 3 seconds between each point of progress. So 1 point out of 100 took 3 seconds. Then it's 3 seconds to get to 2. Then another 3 seconds to get to 3/100. Unless there is something else that changes the times of them, either lower or higher, but I saw nothing of the sorts during my literal 7+ hours of grinding for 100 thermia fracture points.

Also, once I started doing the thermia fractures I pretty much didn't stop to do anything else- solely farmed out the fractures with each time I completed a coolant tank I went back to the exploiter orb, with archwing or k-drive, to get another and start over again. I only failed one coolant tank.

It takes 3 minutes and 20 seconds to defend a single fracture. I stopped the time today. That means, it is exactly 2 seconds for 1 %.

Diluted Thermia is probably a crafting material for an item - similar to Plains of Ediolon Infested event.
considering time to obtain and general use of such material I find it hard to believe.

Also Hildryn farm cannot be an event, so it is hard to link it to an event.

By same logic, it is probably gonna be either nothing, or used for single item,

Look at the Exploiter orb's codex entry, it shows Hildryn's parts.
DE said the fight would be a event that would return like plague star.

Jesus ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ christ, it's literally in the patch note.

Brief note about event recurrence: we have this set up to occur as a world event frequently. This will not be a case of Hildryn being inaccessible as Thermia Fractures will occur in the Orb Vallis regularly, enabling the boss fight. We will be monitoring for balance as always!

Actually, they said the Thermia fissures would keep showing after the event ends, so Hyldren will be farmable even after Buried debts.

It would be nice if it was treated as a "rare" resource, and only require a couple of Thermia per part, and the 100 for the event only being necessary for the Opticor.

Of course, that's just my naive optimistic wishful thinking, and I wouldn't be surprised if we really needed all of the thermia from those 100 fractures...
