The damage, critical chance, critical damage of the grenade is affected by the weapon's base stats and mods.
The damage is divided into two parts, one is the impact damage, and the other is the damage caused by the explosion.
Particularly, damage of the projectile is affect by Covert Lethality's "+100"damage.
Bonus critical chance on slide attack mods such as Maiming Strike or Zaw Riven Mods do not affect the critical chance of the projectile.
Hits do not increase or benefit from the combo counter, similar to thrown melee weapons.
The damage from the grenade is also affected by stealth damage multipliers.
The infested grenade is capable of inflicting a Viral b Viral proc, in addition to any other status effects on the equipped Zaw.
Plus, now you can chuck one directly below you instead of ground slamming - or choose not to, going for that groundslam instead. More options is always better, in my book.
