Melee: How do I "charge" attacks now?
I have been using healing mods (life steal) to keep my frame fat and happy, but they require "charged" melee attacks, and I can't for the life of me figure out how charging an attack works now.

Could someone point out the obvious for me?

You mean channeling? I think that they said it's whatever your secondary fire button is

yes, channeling. Middle mouse button doesn't seem to be doing it.

You may need to rebind it in your keybindings. My old setting for channeling conflicted with the new system until I changed it. Also may want to make sure you have your channeling set to toggle and not hold.

rebinding it fixed it, thank you
Do note that channeling is now a toggle; no need to hold down middle mouse button (or whatever you may have rebound it to) to keep channeling.

...Y'all know a "charged attack" is in-game lingo for "hold melee button". The OP probably actually meant to say "channeling", but there is no reason for anyone to assume that's what they meant.

With that being said, can you charge an attack the same way as before?

Yes, but it was pretty obvious what OP was referring to as soon as he mentioned it was in conjunction with using Life Strike, which only restores health when hitting an enemy with a channeling attack.

Either way, my question has been answered by those capable of inferring intent from context. Thank you for that.

Welp, my I dun goofed. I didn't about the mod mentioned, so I just took OP's word for it
