Is Warframe turning into a pro-LGBTQ game?
Dear DE!
Don't get me wrong I'm not homophobic and I know that DE supports the LGBTQ community but with this new frame I have to ask: is this really necessary?
The new frame looks like a female weightlifter from the DDR and it's on roids (a lot).

TY for your answer (that usually never comes here on Steam) :)

UPDATE: OFC some ppl/snowflakes got triggered and cry for ban or worse.
For you out there here is the more simple version.
- The new warframe looks like a male bodybuilder WITH T-I-T-S
- It has the so called roid-stomach.
- Wasn't Rhino enough for a buff, male-ish frame?

Don't worry your not the only one.

Are we pretending this topic, and it's place among Warframe topics is actually entertaining? Show some class people... learn when bait is bait.

Well Nezha is just a skinny frame, there is men built like that irl too (and his deluxe skin is less "confusing"). And yeah most of all Hildryn got an interesting kit :3 (that and her ability to "lift" some mothers... x'))

I will admit, that part is very appealing to me. Just waiting or the update to finish so I can see how much she is, as I am not farming for her.

Doesn't change the fact that the new frame is hedious and it's probably first frame that I'd describe like that.
Nah I just wanted to understand in wich way this warframe is "pro-lgbtq" except the fact the might be a threat to "alpha male" by being stronger :')

I mean, don't you find large, strong muscles hot?

The absolute pinnacle of physical fitness. Immense strength.
The ability to survive decades longer in life through sheer dedication.

If that isn't hot, I don't know what is to be honest.
Well for somes straight men they need women to be small and fit and most of all: don't have big muscle. They might want to speak or defend themself if they had muscles x')
Or, ya know, just find large musculature unattractive because they think it looks weird, be it on guy or girl. I think most bodybuilders look gross. Now, a slimmer swimmer's body, or a properly balanced muscle builder, who's muscles aren't oversized and actually complement their core shape? That's a whole different matter. Same with breast size. There's too big, same as there is too small, it all comes down to individual preference.

Straight people are just as entitled to opinions as bi and gay people. Same goes for the transgender issue. None involved have some sort of inherent moral high ground, and treating any group like it does is extremely shortsighted and very dangerous. That's the problem with progressivism in general.

I got no problems with it (LGBTQ) myself, but that doesn't mean you need to shove it in people's faces. It doesn't mean that it should be inserted into media just for 'representation'. Gays end up stereotypes, where they focus on it like it's something to be excited about, rather than just part of who the character is. Real people don't overfocus on it, even the most flamboyant of them.
Especially when it comes to trans characters. Most real gendertransitioning people, and even those that are gender-fluid, are perfectly happy with just picking a character type that appeals to their own sense of aesthetics. They don't NEED representation individually, because the complexities of the mental state of these people CANNOT be accurately portrayed by a video game. Again, especially with gender transitioning, the end goal is to end up as either male or female, not stuck somewhere inbetween. Trying to portray those unique circumstances is a fool's dream, and will never be satisfactory to those you are trying to portray.
It's the same deal with media portrayals of autism or mental disorders in general. A good, respectful, accurate portrayal is always outweighed by the amount of good intentioned stupidity fed by the ignorant thinking they know anything.
Found the troll.

Do we really objectify these Warframes in a sexual manner? *Sees Wisp sprint animation* Oh. I see.

If they made a fatty Waframe, would people be outraged? Probable, the wankers.

games are a visual medium...

making ugly unattractive models and character or "warframes" is a stupid thing to do.

thats me tho.
